It’s amazing how different an outfit looks with different pairs of shoes. I was just playing around with some of my old shoes to see if it really could change an outfit and omg- I couldn’t believe it!!! It’s so important to find the right pair of shoes! It’s scary to think I could have been walking around before with the wrong shoes! Here is look #1 with peep toe leather booties:

This is my least favorite shoes with this dress. It does NOT work and makes my legs look shorter than they already are! And it just changes the look of the dress- which by the way is much cuter in person! These shoes make me look just strange! It’s another one of those, what was I thinking when I bought them last Fall at Nordstrom’s Rack.

Is it just me or does the nude peep toe pumps (look #4) look the best? I think shoes make the world of difference on an outfit and can make or break the look! Sometimes I see a great outfit on someone and then look down at their shoes and am like (*doh*), the shoes just ruined it for me!
In case anyone is wondering, this Bebe dress is super old~ and it is a ONE piece even though it may look like separates. I love how it fits and is super comfortable and I can wear it to work. I sometimes will pair my suede brown boots with it and it looks really cute.
Since I am on the topic of shoes, I just found out that DSW sells GUCCI shoes!!! I am loving these GUCCI brown peep toes for Fall… I was actually pleasantly surprised at the price given the price of my Christian Louboutin’s. I still am getting over the price tag on those beautiful babies!
Which look do you ladies like better? If anyone is looking for nude pumps, I have been talking about these Nine West peep toes for months…and they are still available!!!
The nude pumps are actually my favorite on you too but I didn't think the booties in the first photos looked that bad! They are so cute!
And shoes do have the ability to make or break an outfit but the colors that you have here go with pretty much everything! They are all so cute, too bad my feet are like 2 sizes bigger than yours. 🙁

You r so right! As an obvious example, imagine any work outfit with sneakers..*shudders* (like Miranda in SATC2 opening scene).
Nude pumps elongate bc they give illusion of extension of the leg. Its great for petites!

Totally agree with you on this. I've definitely had some days where I realize halfway through that I picked the wrong pair of shoes for what I'm wearing. I've also been finding that instead of always heading for black pumps automatically to pair with black skirts/pants, I need to try other options if I want to spruce up my outift.
I'm always about the nude pumps for elongation but I love the first pic too.
The last one–nude peep toe pumps do look the best. As a couple of other people have said, it elongates your legs. I think that it also elongates because it's a similar color to the skirt part of your dress. A very classy look.

Yes, the nude pumps are the best choice not only because they elongate, but because the color is similar to your skintone, the viewer's eyes are drawn up to your outfit and face, and that makes everyone look better. Though I must say, sometimes I want people to notice my shoes! But when I'm in that mood I'm sure to keep my outfit super spare and simple.

I think nude pumps make every outfit look good (especially if you've found the perfect shade that matches your skin tone!) They really are the perfect neutral! Great looks 🙂

The nude pumps are my favorite. They allow the pop of color and pattern in your blouse to take center stage, which also draws attention to your beautiful face. 🙂

I like ALL of them. Call me crazy! I don't think the peep toe booties are bad. In fact I think it's quite fashionable. Maybe it's not the best match for this particular outfit, but aren't they gorgeous?! I don't think it kills this outfit.
I think the nude pumps make your legs look the longest….but I kind of like the style of the wedges with the dress.
