I’m still on my Bora Bora vacation high and haven’t caught up on anything but wanted to post about these sloan ankle pants before they sell out completely.  If you are a 00P-2P, it looks like they are sold out online in navy but if you check the availability in store feature on their website, it should tell you which stores near your zip code have it in stock.
A great big thank you to all the ladies that suggested these to me!  I haven’t had much time to shop but finally made it to the store yesterday to try them on. See fitting room pic here.

I can finally check off navy pants on my wish list because these are amazing! They fit perfectly in every way.  They sit lower on the waist with a rise of 7″. No baggy crotch here! The butt fits me well and the back of the knees are not bunchy or wrinkly. The length of the 00P fits someone my height nicely (5″ tall).  If you’re taller than me, you may want to think about getting the regular sizing (comes in short, regular and long).  The fit through the thighs and legs is very slimming.  The cotton stretch fabric is nice and thick.  I’m wearing them today to work so I’ll be watching carefully to see if the butt doesn’t stretch out too much after sitting for hours (will report back).  Love that it has belt loops too.

You know it’s rare for me to rave about pants but these are my favorite. I would highly recommend them.  They are great for work and can also be worn casually with flats.
I just pre-ordered these sloan fit windowpane pants (expected ship for October) – super excited for these! I’m also loving this pink windowpane peplum sweater and cropped double breasted jacket. Use code BRMORE for 40% off orders of $200+ or 35% off orders of $150+.   Have a great weekend! 🙂

  1. This is a classy outfit with a casual touch. Maybe since these navy blue pants almost sort of seem like skinny jeans. Anyhow… you look lovely here. I love the camel blazer. I also like the lace shell shirt. Cool sunglasses. Lovely smile and hairstyle as well.

  2. It does look like it fits perfectly. No back pictures though? 🙁 BTW, I actually bought these pants in red. Still debating to keep or not. Have to take some pictures this weekend to decide. Have a great weekend, Annie.

  3. Thanks for the thorough review and sale alert Annie! These pants look so sleek and chic on you and I love this outfit! l can’t wait to see how they will fit me but I’m hopeful thanks to your review. How do these BR pants compare to the J.Crew pants which you were also enthusiastic about? Also did the seat of the pants hold up throughout the day?

  4. Glad these pants worked out for you– I love the Sloan fit. Lucky that you found the navy color, I was bummed that they didn’t have them in my size in any stores near me! I was actually debating getting the Sloan windowpane pants too, but opted for the matching peplum top instead.

  5. Hi, I just bought both the sloan navy pants and the window pane. I bought the navy in a size 0 but the window pane in a 2. The 2 in the window pane fit in the store but I’m concerned about “the saggy butt at the end of the day” effect. The sales associate told me that because they were different material that the fit was different for the pants. They didn’t have a 0 in the window pane in the store to test out so I got the 2 but I’m wondering if I should take them back and just order the pants online. Did you find this the case with yours?

  6. I’m not sure exactly why but this web site is loading very slow for me.
Is anyone else having this issue or is it a problem on my end?

I’ll check back later and see if the problem still exists.

  7. When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox
and now each time a comment is added I get four e-mails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove me from that service?
    Appreciate it!
