Happy Friday! It’s sweater dress season (my favorite) and I couldn’t be happier! I’ve always been a fan of sweater dresses because they are so comfortable and easy to wear. Unfortunately the fit seems to always be a challenge. I find that most are very boxy and have no shape. The waist area is always too wide and I end up having excess fabric in the back. I slimmed the sides of the waist instead of resorting to shrinking in fear of losing some of the length. However, I’ve been able to shrink my favorite striped Loft sweater dress in the past but I wouldn’t recommend this technique – it’s way too risky. I’ve wanted an ivory cable knit sweater for what seems like an eternity but the cream version of this sweater dress was completely see through (just FYI). On another note, Loft is having an extra 60% off sale items! My favorite merino wool blend waterfall cardigan is only $25.99 (see it on me HERE)! I ordered this jeweled collar oxford shirt, scallop lace dress (gorgeous color) and boucle open front cardigan (exactly like the regular version from last year). Yayyy! Annie you are the new, better Jean- THANK YOU for posting outfits and finds that working women can enjoy. This is what I need in a petite blog- things I can find at H&M, target, old navy, Loft, forever 21 that are quality pieces and versatile. NOT items from rando online websites, DIY (who has time for that!), High end crap that you waste money on and it goes out of season like most things. OK sorry for the rant but jean is annoying thinking she is so great
