I’ve been wanting to update my master bedroom for awhile now but it was far too daunting to try and tackle that while I’m pregnant. I have too many other things to worry about like eating well, exercising, sleeping, and of course, getting the baby’s nursery together. 🙂 I figured the easiest way to spruce up our master bedroom was to find a new bedding and some accent pillows.
My house is usually pretty conservative and minimal so I wanted something totally fun and girly this time. Since most of us see our bedroom(s) every day, you want something that makes you smile right?
If you know anything about me, you already know that I am a huge Kate Spade New York fan. So, needless to say, I was super excited when she launched a new and refreshing line of playfully sophisticated bedding featuring crisp colors and graphic designs available exclusively at Bed Bath & Beyond! 
How adorable are these accent pillows? Simple and clean with a few splashes of color to pop off the black shams and ampersand pillow. 
I learned that as uncomfortable as I initially was to try something completely different, the final result made me feel really good about my decision and it now has me thinking about what other rooms in my house I can improve with more Kate Spade decor! 🙂
