Scallops and Pearls

If I had to pick my favorite piece of jewelry, it would have to be a pearl necklace.  There’s something about wearing pearls that makes you feel so classy, timeless and put together.  Pearl necklaces are my go-to accessory because they pretty much go with everything.  They’re a staple that every woman needs.

Carolee is one of my top jewelry brands for pearls.  They’ve created the Pearls of Wisdom collection exclusively for Bloomingdale’s.  This collection is particularly special because it supports Breast Cancer Research Foundation with a $5 donation for each piece sold.  I love purchasing items from brands that support great causes.

This Carolee 60″ simulated pearl necklace is so pretty!  I love how the tiny glass beads are set in between each pearl to give it a bold contrast.  Each cultured freshwater pearl measures 6mm.  This is the perfect size especially on a petite frame.

Are you wondering how to style this necklace?  There are so many ways to wear a 60″ pearl necklace, here are some ideas to show you how many possibilities there are:

21 ways to wear a 60 inch pearl necklace

I personally wear the double and triple strand styles the most.  This look is super easy to do and involves no time or effort.  If you prefer the layered look without having to do it yourself, I’d recommend this necklace.  Pearls look so great with dresses, blouses, sweaters and everything else!   Oh, I’m also loving this Carolee floral pin.  How cute would it look on a tweed blazer for Fall?

Every woman needs some pearls in her life.  Bottom line…pearls are investment pieces.  Something that can be worn season after season and will never go out of style. XO
