What’s In My Makeup Bag

Even though the area where I live in California has mild coastal temperatures nearly all year round, I still always like to transition my makeup over from fall to winter.  Today I’m revealing what’s inside my makeup bag and reviewing a few new products I’m currently using (and loving) from Revlon!

Revlon ColorStay™ Brow Pencil

To be completely honest, my eyebrows are so thin and sparse that finding a good brow pencil has been a priority for my makeup routine.  Luckily, Revlon’s ColorStay™ Brow Pencil is great for filling in and defining my brows and it only takes two easy steps!

Revlon ColorStay Brow Pencil

STEP 1:  Use the angled side of the pencil to draw a line on the top and bottom of your natural eyebrow shape.  Then use the flat side to fill in any sparse areas.  The unique angled tip allows for fast and easy brow definition and color application.

STEP 2:  Brush to blend the color in.  The spoolie softens colors and grooms hairs in place.  There’s nothing worse than un-groomed eyebrows!

What’s great about this brow pencil is that it’s longwearing, waterproof formula lasts up to 24 hours, which alleviates the hassle of needing to reapply!

Revlon ColorStay™ 2 in 1 Angled Kajal™ Liner

Revlon Colorstay Kajal Eyeliner

Would you believe I only just started wearing eyeliner within the last few years?  Looking back, I don’t know how I lived without it!  It really brings out your eyes and makes them pop.  I’m loving Revlon’s ColorStay 2 in 1 Angled Kajal™ Liner because its two products in one – a soft kajal and smudger brush.

If you like smoky eyes but have trouble creating the look, this angled liner and brush makes it easy.  It goes on smoothly and easily.  I’ve been super emotional since becoming a new mommy so whenever I shed a tear or two, the waterproof formula provides the soft texture of kajal even on the waterline.

Revlon ColorStay™ Crème Eye Shadow

For some reason, my eyelids are super fussy about eye shadow as not all of them work on me.  Weird, right?  Revlon ColorStay™ Crème Eye Shadow is approved by my lids, lol!  It’s so easy to apply and doesn’t make creases, even after many hours of wear.  I like to use the shade Chocolate on the bottom and top it off with the shade Praline.  My favorite part about these eye shadows is that Revlon included a brush built into the cap for fast, easy and mess-free application (amazing!).  The best part is you no longer have to buy a separate cream shadow brush!  I really like how the formula offers a smooth and luxurious color that lasts up to 24 hours!

Revlon Kiss™ Balm

As the cooler weather makes its appearance, my lips always become more chapped.  I was guilty of being a lip balm hoarder but I finally threw them all out because now I’m obsessed with Revlon Kiss™ Balm!  It makes my lips super soft, smooth and kissable.  Being in always-sunny California, my lips are extra sensitive and always need some type of protection from the sun.  Luckily, this Kiss™ Balm has SPF 20 protection to keep my lips looking plump and youthful.  This comes in six fresh fruit flavors (sweet cherry, fresh strawberry, juicy peach, tropical coconut, crisp apple, berry burst).  I’m drooling just typing these delish names – lol!

Revlon Colorstay Kiss balm

I’m currently wearing juicy peach and it’s so yummy and the scent is incredible!  Lip balm is usually the last part of my makeup routine and after I apply my Kiss™ Balm, my look is complete!
