Review: High Waisted Bikini and Gray Floral Pencil Dress

Hope you had a great week!  Not too many great sales this weekend however there’s still two days left to shop Nordstrom winter sale – lots of great markdowns.  Click HERE to shop the sale and refer back to THIS POST to see my picks!  Sharing a couple quick reviews today before they sell out.

ASOS PETITE Smart Dress with V Back in Gray Floral Print

Gray floral dress (00p) // Louboutin pumps (similar HERE)

Room details: Rug (buy HERE) // Pink tufted chair (matching bench HERE) // Gold sequin bow pillow (buy HERE) // Gold Ampersand (buy HERE) // Gold pouf // Dress Form // Gold Shelves DIY (similar shelving HERE) // Similar gold mirror // Polka Dot glasses // Eiffel Tower bookends (similar HERE) // Necklace // Ampersand canvas art (similar HERE)

This gray floral dress is TO DIE FOR.  It looks way better in person than it does online.  I’m in love with the floral print and the classic cut.  Sizing runs true to size on this particular item even though ASOS typically runs smaller than most US brands.  I’m trying on 00p and it fits me perfectly.  It’s fitted but not body-con and I can still move freely and breathe (lol).  These type of dresses are usually really hard to walk in because of the slim fit but this one is very comfortable.  I can walk easily without feeling restricted.  The best part – it has pockets and sleeves!  The material is a smooth polyester fabric – and very soft.  Love it and would recommend.

ASOS PETITE Smart Dress with V Back in Gray Floral Print, Jeffrey Campbell Minari Sandal, YSL saint laurent blush wallet on chain clutch

Gray floral dress (00p) // Bow sandals // Saint Laurent WOC // Loft faux pearl necklace (similar HERE)

This would be a great dress to wear for Easter!  You can also wear it to work (very professional) or a spring/summer wedding.  FYI – the hem is much longer on me than it is on the model (5′ tall) but I like the midi length.  Very classy and chic!

c/o Scalloped blouse (on sale, XXS) // J.Crew polka dot skirt (similar HERE) // Louboutin pumps (similar HERE)

This pink scalloped blouse is now on sale for only $35!  Sizing runs small so I’d recommend sizing up if you’re in-between sizes or have a larger chest.  I’m wearing XXS and it fits me nicely – sleeves are slightly long but not too bad.  I also have the black and white and would recommend both!

Kingdom and State bombshell blush swan high waisted bikini

c/o Blush swan bikini top (XS) // c/o Blush swan bikini bottom (XS) // Pink sunglasses (similar HERE) // c/o Tuckernuck blanket // H&M hat (similar HERE)

How adorable is this blush swan bikini?  I’ve been looking for a high waisted bikini and this one is too cute for words!  I love the retro vibe and the blush swan print is so pretty.  Sizing runs true to size and I have XS for both the top and bottom (sold separately).  If you have a larger bust, I would recommend sizing up and refer to Kingdom and State’s updated size chart.  This is my first high waisted bikini bottom and I’m really liking how it hides any tummy issues (great for postpartum).  If you’re looking for a modest bikini that has the look and feel of a one piece swimsuit, I would definitely recommend this one!  I love it to pieces!  Click HERE to see more options – so many cute items!  Also, I ordered this scalloped one piece swimsuit and it runs really small. I sized up to a 4 US.  Not sure if I’ll be keeping yet but just wanted to share.

ModCloth stripe it lucky skirt, mustard cardigan, Banana Republic madmen lace top, faux pearl necklace

c/o Striped skirt (size small) // Banana Republic lace top (cute HERE) // Loft cardigan (similar HERE) // Loft faux pearls (similar HERE) // Gold cuff (similar HERE)

See original post HERE or styled differently HERE and HERE.

I’m re-posting this outfit because this skirt is an all time favorite of mine – even after all these years!  It’s still available and under $50!  I get so many compliments every time I wear it and it’s held up nicely over the years.  Would highly recommend!

Banana Republic Indigo Skinny Ankle Jean Blue crush, Baublebar Crystal Grendel Bib, H&M blush peplum top, Talbots striped blazer, Ferragamo Vara pumps, Chloe marcie small leather satchel

c/o Striped blazer (size PP) // H&M peplum top (old, similar HERE) // Banana Republic jeans (similar HERE) // Ferragamo Vara pumps // Chloe marcie satchel // c/o Baublebar necklace // c/o kate spade watch

Baublebar Crystal Grendel Bib, Gibson Twist front cozy fleece pullover, Gucci soho disco leather bag, Topshop Jamie Shredded High Rise Skinny Jeans, Vince Camuto Franell western booties

Twist front pullover sweater // Moto jacket // Gray distressed jeans // Vince Camuto ankle booties // Gucci soho disco bag // c/o Baublebar necklace

browser compatibility but I thought I’d post to let you know.
The design and style look great though! Hope you get the problem fixed soon. Many thanks
