Weekend Sales And Reviews You Don’t Want To Miss

Lots to share today!  There’s tons of great sales going on this weekend so let’s get to that first before we dive into some reviews.  Loft is having a mystery flash sale!  Get 50% off with code: LUCKY50 (this ends Friday 3/17 at 10 AM EST and only valid in the U.S).  If you’re a night owl and reading this post, then you get to benefit!  Nordstrom just marked down tons of new stuff.  Click HERE to shop the sale.  These block heel sandals are so cute and on sale for under $60!  I recently ordered THESE sandals in both cognac and blush pink – such a great price.  Get 20% off at Asos with code: PATS20 (would recommend THIS).  Anthropologie is having 20% off with code SPRINGPERK – I think I am going to bite the bullet and order this jacket I tried on HERE.  Ann Taylor is having 40% off with code: LUCKY – love THISTHIS and THIS.

c/o Pink double sleeve top (size 2) // Paige denim (size 24) // c/o Bow necklace // Blush tote // Marc Fisher sandals // c/o kate spade watch // c/o Kendra Scott cuff

I can’t get enough of statement sleeves!  This pink double frill sleeve top is so so cute.  Sizing runs on the smaller side and it’s very short so I’d recommend sizing up if you are unsure.  The quality is very nice and comparable to Asos and Topshop.  This is my first time trying River Island petites and I’m really liking it.  European sizes tend to run much smaller than U.S brands which is great for petites.

Halo pullover sweater (XS) // Denim shorts (size 00) // Lace bralette // Blush tote // Marc Fisher sandals

I’m so obsessed with this halo pullover sweater and lace bralette (see both on me HERE).  The sweater runs big but I like the oversized look.  Would highly recommend both.  I also wanted to talk about this new blush tote.  I’ve been wearing it non-stop lately!  It’s the perfect color and size.  Very well made and great price for the quality.

c/o Scalloped lace top (size 2 US) // c/o Distressed petite jeans (size 4 extra short) // Chloe marcie satchel // Blush lace up pumps // Loft faux pearl necklace (similar HERE) // c/o kate spade watch

Isn’t this scallop hem lace top just gorgeous?  This is regular sizing but also runs small.  I was so happy when the sleeves weren’t too long.  I adore the umbrella sleeves so much!  I’ve already worn this top twice since recently getting it.  The only downside is the back is sheer and not lace.  This top is see-through so make sure to wear a tank underneath (I like this one).

No matter how many pairs of jeans I have, I’m always looking for ones that I don’t have to roll.  I don’t mind inseams that I have to roll once because I like the look however sometimes you just want a true ankle length pair of jeans.  I’m happy to report these require NO cuffing or rolling.  The inseam is PERFECT.  When you click on the link HERE, make sure to scroll down for EXTRA SHORT sizes.  I got US 4 extra short and they run small!  The inseam grazes my ankle – perfect to wear with flats or heels without having to roll or cuff them up.  The only gripe I have is the left knee distressing lands below the knee cap and not ON the knees (pet peeve of mine).  Other than that, I love them!

Distressed denim shorts (size 00) // Barefoot dreams cardigan in mink (XS) // Madewell pocket tee (XXS)

Are you shocked to see me in shorts (LOL)? It’s not often I wear them because I can NEVER find a pair that I like!  Denim or not, shorts are the hardest things for me to shop for.  They are either too short (no I don’t want my rear spilling out) or they’re too long and make me look like a stump.  I’m over the moon about these distressed denim shorts.  They are exactly what I was looking for and the length is great for petites. The inseam is 3.5″ – not too short or long.  I love the color and distressing.  Sizing runs a little on the larger side but it’s supposed to be a relaxed fit so I don’t mind it a little loose in the waist.  I really like how they fit on me  and they’re super comfortable.  Would recommend!  I also got THESE but still debating if I like the color or not.  I don’t think I will wear them as often as the darker pair.

Cream blazer (00p, 40% off) // c/o Scalloped lace top (size 2 US) // Banana Republic jeans (similar HERE or HERE) // Ferragamo Vara pumps // Blush tote // c/o Ily Couture necklace (similar HERE)

Remember this blazer from last year?  It’s back again and on sale!  It’s great blazer for work and you can wear it casually. Love the neutral color – goes with everything.  Would recommend!

Kate Spade lottie pumps, Loft scalloped skirt, striped elbow patch shirtNavy scalloped skirt (00p) // Ann Taylor striped top (similar HERE) // kate spade pink pumps (similar HERE)

My navy scalloped skirt finally came!  It took FOREVER due to the winter storm happening on the east coast (grrr).  I was super excited when it arrived.  The material is very nice and the length is perfect however sizing runs VERY BIG!  I can’t stand the vanity sizing at Loft.  It frustrates me to no end.  This has been an on-going issue for as long as I can remember.  The waist measures 13″ across and the hips are very wide.  I love it so much that I will see if I can get it tailored without comprising the pockets.  I still would recommend but possibly size down if you can.
