Summer finds for under $25

How gorgeous is this pink floral maxi skirt?  Finding a maxi skirt when you are just shy of 5′ tall is not easy. I’m completely obsessed with this one plus I found some other great summer finds that I’ll be reviewing today.

I fell in love with this gorgeous floral print maxi skirt but was very skeptical about how long it would be. Based on the measurements provided (40″ length) , I knew it would be at least 2″ too long (38″ is ideal for me).  If you’re 5′ or under, you’ll need to wear tall wedges.  I paired it with my Marc Fisher wedge sandals and it did the trick.  The waist is elastic and measures 11″ laying flat across.  FYI – the online measurements are usually pretty accurate.  I always do my own to compare and they are pretty spot on. Make sure to hover your mouse over the size so you can see the measurements.

This floral print is so pretty!  The color is a dusty pink – even better in person.  The asymmetric wrap style is so cute however the slit does go up pretty high.  It was very windy the day I wore this so luckily it didn’t reveal anything or at least I didn’t think it did (lol).  It’s very flowy an drapes nicely – could even double as a beach cover up.  The material is on the thin side but what do you expect for $20 right?  I love it and would recommend.  You can buy it HERE.

Obviously I can’t say no to tweed or bows.  I really didn’t know what to expect given the $24 price tag but it got so many rave reviews, I decided to try it.  I knew the smallest size would require some alterations and I’m okay with that as long as I love the item enough to spend money on alterations.  Much to my surprise, I loved this dress right away.  It needed some steaming to get the wrinkles out but once I tried it on, I knew that it was worth getting tailored.  I had the waist and hips taken in 1″ on each side.  I didn’t want to make the bottom skirt portion too fitted because I wanted to keep the a-line shape.

Measurements of size XS (laying flat across):  Shoulders 11″,  chest 16″, waist 14″, hips 18.5″, total length 33″

The quality is nice and the dress looks much more expensive than $24!  The tweed material isn’t too heavy or bulky to wear in spring and summer.  It’ll transition easily into fall and winter by adding some black tights and a blazer.  What a great and classic dress for work!  Would recommend.  You can buy it HERE.

c/o Striped Leaf print swimsuit (size XS) //JADEtribe pom pom tote // Fujifilm Instax mini 8 camera // Panama hat // c/o kate spade sunglasses (on sale)

I’ve been taking Milan to the beach more and more lately which gives me a great excuse to buy more swimsuits (lol).  Ordering swimwear online is so scary especially when you have no idea how it will fit.  This striped top runs really big and I’ll have to slim the sides or wear mix and match one of my other bathing suit tops.  I love the high waisted bottoms – great for concealing any problem areas.  Sizing runs true to size and they fit me just fine.  I also love this cut out one piece HERE.  The quality is shockingly pretty good and is comparable to the more expensive suits I have.  I think this is an adorable swim suit and would recommend but just know that the top runs big.

This hollow out fit and flare dress is AMAZING and has pockets!  Sizing runs true to size and size small fits me with a little room to spare in the waist.  So perfect for summer.

Measurements of size small: waist 13″, chest 15″ and total length is 40-42″ depending on your straps

The straps are adjustable which is a huge bonus.  The dress is fully lined and really nice quality.  This same dress somewhere else would be double or triple the price.  Love it and would recommend!

My last Shein haul (see HERE) were all keepers and so was this round.  Like I’ve mentioned in the past, I spend A LOT of time combing through all the pages online to find the best items to review and post for you.  It’s not an easy gig but someone has to do it (lol).  I know it’s always nerve-wrecking ordering from overseas so this is why I do these posts.  The prices are so affordable and hopefully my reviews will help weed out the not so great items.  🙂

Thank you Shein for sponsoring this post.
