Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Reviews Round 4 (plus $1000 giveaway)

nsale reviews part 4

Oh my goodness…the Nordstrom anniversary sale this year is bananas!  Things keep selling out even after they’ve been restocked. This is pure madness. I have a so much stuff I still need to review for you guys but every time I check the inventory, it’s sold out!  I decided I’ll post my thoughts anyway in hopes that things will continue to get restocked.  Based on previous years, there was plenty of inventory after the sale and the price was even cheaper.  So don’t lose hope!  Be sure to check out my top 25 picks HERE, reviews round one HERE, reviews round two HERE, reviews round 3 HERE (plus $1000 giveaway).

casual fall outfit striped tee plaid blanket scarf

Shirt: BP. pocket tee (XXS) | Shoes: Vince Camuto Fileana split shaft booties | Denim: Step hem jeans | Purse: Tory Burch (old, similar HERE) | Scarf: Shiraleah plaid blanket scarf

This striped pocket tee sold out within minutes of the sale going live and then got restocked and sold out AGAIN! It’s super soft and comfortable however it runs big. I don’t mind the oversized fit (see the olive green on me below).

I took too long to review this plaid blanket scarf and now it’s sold out. 🙁 I’m hoping they restock because it’s perfect for fall.  Would recommend!

satin lace cami chunky knit sweater distressed jeans fall outfit

Sweater: BP. ribbed knit cardigan (XXS) | Cami: BP satin lace cami | Jeans: Free People

I love the color of this ribbed knit cardigan (sale $31.90, after sale $49) – it’s a darker camel color and great for fall. I have a couple of sweaters in this color and it pairs well with white and black. Sizing runs large so size down if you can – I’m wearing XXS and it fits generous on me.

If you love camisoles, this satin lace cami is super cute.  The lace detail is gorgeous and looks great layered. I don’t think I would wear this on it’s one but it looks great layered.  Sizing runs large however the adjustable straps helps.  In case you need a strapless bra, I’m wearing THIS ONE.

causal weekend outfit distressed denim cognac leather satchel

Shirt: BP. pocket tee (XXS) | Jeans: BP. step hem jeans (similar HERE) | Shoes: Steve Madden (similar HERE) | Belt: Loft leopard belt (similar HERE) | Purse: c/o Talbots leather satchel

This is the same pocket tee as the striped one from above – love the olive green for fall. It would look great with leopard flats too!

chunky knit sweater casual fall outfit ankle booties

chunky knit sweater lace bralette casual fall outfit

Sweater: Hillary sweater (XS) | Jeans: 7 for all mankind (similar HERE) | Shoes: Vince Camuto Fileana split shaft booties

I didn’t love this chunky knit sweater (sale $38.90, after sale $59.50) at first but after trying it on, I ended up loving it.  The chunky knit and oversized fit will be a great transitional piece for fall.  Sizing runs big and the bell sleeves are long (have them rolled up).  I think it looks super cute with my favorite lace bralette.  I love how simple yet chic this outfit is! Looking forward to wearing it when the weather is cooler.

plaid shirt distressed denim ankle booties fall outfit

Shirt: Bobeau tie front plaid shirt (XS in blue/red plaid) | Jeans: 7 for all mankind (similar HERE) | Shoes: Vince Camuto Francia booties

pink work out pants white pocket tee pink new balance sneakers

Leggings: Zella high waist crop leggings (XXS) | Shirt: Caslon rounded v-neck tee (XXSP) | Sneakers: New Balance

I was not expecting these Zella leggings (sale $36.90, after sale $52) to work out but surprisingly they are one of my favorite purchases. I was shocked at how well they fit.  Sizing runs true to size.  I’m wearing XXS and it fits perfectly.  The high waist is comfortable and very flattering (hides trouble areas well).  Love the pink color so much and would recommend!

This Caslon rounded v-neck tee (sale $17.90, after sale $25) is a MUST buy.  Love that it comes in petite sizes and fits perfectly.  Such a staple piece and can be worn so many different ways.  I like this better than my Madewell whisper cotton tee that I own in two colors.  Available in 17 different colors and I’m planning on stocking up!

ankle bootie fall shoes step hem jeansShoes: Vince Camuto Fileana split shaft bootie (french taupe suede) |Jeans: 7 for all mankind (similar HERE) | Rug: NuLoom

I really like these split shaft booties (sale $99.90, after sale $149.95).  I’ve decided that Vince Camuto is my favorite brand for ankle booties! They always seem to have the best styles and sizing is always on point for my small feet. I love the lace cutouts and split v-shaft style.  It’s a nice change from my other booties. Sizing runs true size and I took my normal size 5. I haven’t worn them out officially yet since it’s summer but after walking around the house for awhile, they feel pretty comfortable.  The 3.5″ heel is low enough to wear all day.  Comes in three colors – I have on french taupe suede but you can’t go wrong with greystone or black. Would recommend!

casual fall outfit ankle bootie comparison vince camutoLeft: Vince Camuto Francia bootie (color: foxy) | Right:Vince Camuto Fileana split shaft bootie (color: french taupe suede)

Here is a side by side comparison of both Vince Camuto booties per your request. I like the shaft height of the Francia bootie (left photo) better however I also like the split v-shaft of the Fileana’s.  It’s a toss up because they are both great options and the same price. I can’t decide for the life of me which one to keep so I’m going to treat myself to both pairs (lol).

pink trench coat over the knee boots scalloped skirt

Boots: Stuart Weitzman Highland OTK boots (IN STOCK and 40% off, topo suede) | Skirt: Topshop (similar HERE or HERE) | Trench coat: c/o Banana Republic (similar HERE) | Purse: Tory Burch (similar HERE) | Shirt: Old Navy (similar HERE) | Necklace: Loft outlet (similar HERE)

These highly coveted over the knee boots are back in stock and currently 40% off! This is a great deal given the regular price is $798. They are most definitely an investment and certainly not cheap. I paid full price back in the day and have no regrets although it sure would have been nice to get them at this price.  If you’re petite or have skinny calves/thighs, these are a great option. Quality is amazing and they really do live up to all the hype.  Love them and would highly recommend. Get them while you can because this sale is rare.

Can you believe this isn’t everything I bought? I don’t think I’ll even be able to finish up the rest before the sale ends. Hopefully these reviews has helped you navigate through this crazy sale!
