twist front sweater cable knit poncho over the knee boots

In all honesty, the sales this weekend are not that great!  The discounts aren’t even worth mentioning however there are some decent ones. Get 40% off at Express online and in store.  I’ve been impressed with their stuff lately and and this sweater is my new favorite.  If you need any sweaters or tops, get 40% off full price items at Ann Taylor (use code: LAYERUP).  This turtleneck poncho is super cute and reminds me of the one I got from Nordstrom Rack many years ago.  I recently ordered these wrap coats in both camel and gray to try – hope they fit!  Loft is having 40% off  – will be reviewing this crochet border sweater, scroll lace mockneck top, and this sweater vest soon!

Isn’t this twist front sweater adorable?  It comes in eleven colors – so many pretty colors.  I love the ivory, mustard and pink.  There’s only ‘one size’ which may be frightening when ordering.  Personally, I think it runs small and short but the sleeves are long and slightly wide.  I have it cuffed up a couple of times.  The length is great if you’re around my height but any taller, you’ll have to make sure to wear high waisted jeans or pants to avoid showing skin.  I really like it and the twist front detail is too cute.

I am so excited about this circle hem sweater!  Based on the online photos, I was expecting it to be very long but when I tried it on, it fit PERFECTLY.  Love everything about it.  It almost has a poncho look without the bulk.  Sizing runs on the smaller side and I got XXSP.  Loved it so much that I got two colors!  See the fit at the bottom of the post.

This cable knit poncho from a couple of years ago is back and wanted to share again because it’s on sale!  I have it in a couple of colors and wore it throughout my pregnancy.  Sizing runs large and does not come in petite sizes.  I’m trying on size S/M and it’s there’s a lot of fabric.  It’s lightweight and super cute for fall.  You can choose to layer it with a striped turtleneck or a long sleeve ivory tee.

Obviously I can’t get enough of olive green this season so when I saw this frill waist pocket front skirt, I fell in love!  Sizing runs true to size and XS fits me however there’s a lot of fabric on the sides.  The material says it’s 100% cotton but feels like there may be some linen blend because it was very wrinkly.  I steamed it and will see how well it holds up throughout the day.  not 100% sure I would recommend this (will keep you posted).  I tried it on quickly but didn’t snap of any pics yet.
