Best Outfits of 2017 (plus weekend sales)

There’s still time to get gifts if you’re still shopping!  Click HERE for my last minute gift ideas.  Ann Taylor is having 50% off PLUS an extra 10% off in stores only (use code: THATSAWRAP).  I adore this striped ruched sleep top and this off the shoulder cable sweater.  Get 50% off at Loft – no code needed.  This cascade open cardigan reminds me of one of my favorites from a few years ago.  You can still order select items at Nordstrom by Noon today to get rush delivery for Saturday or buy online and pick ip in store.  If you’ve ever wanted the Stuart Weitzman Highland over the knee boots, I found them HERE for 43% off!  Still obsessed with these plush sleep leggings and matching top pajamas – I would highly recommend them (see on me HERE).

This year has been such a blessing.  Milan learned how to walk, talk and her personality is hilarious.  This tiny little human who was only 4.5 lbs is now a whopping 23 lbs. and is spunkier than ever.  She’ll be turning two next month and it’s bitter sweet.  How blessed am I to be her mommy? I know it’s cliche but she really is the best thing that has happened to me.  She has taught me to be a better person and to appreciate the simplest things.  To watch her grow, learn and become this little person is just all surreal.  We are still dealing with her eczema….(sigh).

I was hoping to have figured it out by now but she’s now had it for 1.5 years.  Poor baby, I wish I could take all the discomfort and give it to myself.  I pray we will beat it.  We are currently doing another elimination diet (no dairy or eggs) but so far it doesn’t look like that’s the cause.  We have literally tried EVERYTHING.  Some say she will grow out of it but that’s not a chance I’m willing to take.  Eczema has be healed within.  We need to figure out how to heal her gut.  I won’t bore you with the details….just send us some positive vibes and prayers!  I rounded up the most popular outfits of 2017 and most of them are still in stock!

I can’t believe I’ve been blogging for 7 years.  It doesn’t even seem right!  Where has the time gone?  I wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for the continued support over the years.  I took the leap of faith and left my real estate career to pursue this little blog and it was the best decision I ever made.  Without you, all of this wouldn’t be possible so THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.  Wishing each and every one of you the happiest of Holidays and to a fabulous 2018!  Love you! XO

  1. Happy to share with you a “recipe” that pretty much cured my daughter’s severe eczema (she scratched so much she would bleed). It’s really simple but I consider it a miracle. Let me know!

  2. I want to steal all of these outfits. I hope your little girl feels better! Have a great start to 2018!
    XOXO

  3. I love following your blog! My daughter is the same age! Eliminating dairy really helped her eczema, as well as adding a probiotic. You may have tried already, but if not, I highly recommend it. We still use an infant one—Klaire labs therbiotic, but we may move up to a more potent one soon. It really helps!! If she hasn’t had it before, start gradually. She rarely gets patches anymore, but hers was also fairly mild to begin. Best of luck to you and your sweet girl!!

    • Hi Sarah! Thank you so much! We are on day 13 of no dairy or eggs and it almost seems like Milan is worse! I’m so deflated and feel just horrible for her. We will try gluten free next. It’s just crazy! Yay for having a daughter the same age and thrilled she is better. Merry Christmas! XOXO

  4. Hi? I need to know. If something is sold out isn’t there a chance to still get it? Like reload stock??? Later on, when stock is back in???. I found something I really really want!!! Unless sold out w/ur company means just that & there won’t be restock? Can you guide me to where I may find it elsewhere ???

  5. Wishing you and your family a happy holidays! I also hope that your little one’s gets better soon with her eczema. I love all of these outfits it’s all so beautiful. If I had to pick one though, it would be the plaid dress. It’s just super attractive to me. ???? Hope you are having a great weekend!

  6. Hi! Our daughter also had severe eczema— it turns out she was allergic to wheat, soy, oats, etc. You are already trying an elimination diet… have you also visited an allergist to test food allergies? One round of testing changed everything for us. She was allergic to things no one would have dreamed of (barley! Beef!). Once we eliminated the foods, her skin miraculously cleared up. Long time fan of your blog and great fashion taste! All the best to you and your little one.

    • Hi Madeline! OMG barley and beef? That is wild! I have not gone to an allergist – my husband doesn’t want to do that:( We just got done with 2 weeks of no dairy or eggs and strangely enough Milan got 100x worse! Now we are back on it and she’s getting better. SO STRANGE! We will do gluten free next and then everything else…oy…so frustrating! So happy your daughter is better! YAY!
