I’m in love with this flutter top – didn’t see it when I placed my last order. I just got this fringe tweed pocket dress in the mail (hope it fits). Ann Taylor is having 40% off full price dresses and skirt. The only item I like right now is this plaid pencil skirt. This has to be the millionth time I’ve worn and blogged about this skirt. It’s one of those pieces that I always reach for when I can’t decide what to wear or when I need to be comfortable and look presentable. Honestly it’s the best $45 I’ve ever spent. I believe I’ve had this skirt since 2013. How is that even possible? 5 years and it’s still in tact! LOL

The waist runs pretty small however it does have stretch since it’s elastic. Ew I know…elastic waist? It’s not bad at all and you can barely tell. I don’t mind it at all, gives you lots of room to eat and breathe plus it’s very slimming! You can pair this with black tights if you live in colder climate. I love the bold stripes and the best part? The skirt holds it’s shape all day and doesn’t wrinkle. It’s a great travel piece too!
I’ve had a lot of questions about how I care for this skirt. I wash on cold, delicate cycle and air dry. Afterwards, I steam it using THIS professional steamer (comes in pink).
