I’m posting this dress again because chances are you may have missed it (see full review HERE). Here are the measurements again in case you need them:
Measurements of size 0: 13″ waist, 15″ armpit to armpit, 14″ shoulder to shoulder, 34.5″ total length
I finally had a chance to try it on and take a photo of the fit. It’s exactly what I suspected. 🙁
At first glance, it looks like it somewhat fits however there’s a lot of things going on here. Overall, the dress is too big. There’s way too much extra room in the chest and waist. The sides most definitely have to be taken in. The waistline sits too low for me. It needs to come up about 1/2″ for it to look proportional for my figure. They should have stuck to their old sizing from last season! Loved how the navy one fit me HERE. I would only recommend sizing down if possible. It would be the perfect pink dress if the fit was like last years. Bummed.
These gingham bow sandals (currently 50% off with code: YESPLEASE) are super cute however the bottoms are super slippery. Not sure if it was my flooring but I almost slipped and fell when trying them on!
Dress: Gingham maxi dress (size 0) | Shoes: Sannibel platform wedge sandal
This dress looks perfect right? Yeah no..it’s not. It runs big. 🙁 I’m wearing size 0 and it fits generous however the adjustable straps help a lot. There’s a LOT of fabric on the bottom although I do like how it drapes and flows. The gingham is super cute and the quality is very nice. Shockingly the length fits nicely when wearing very tall wedge sandals like THESE. I wouldn’t be able to wear flats with this. This dress would be perfect if fit properly. I would absolutely keep it if it was a size 00. If you are one size up, this will look great on you!
Top: c/o Dolly top (size s/m) | Jeans: AG Jeans (size 24) | Shoes: Manolo Blahnik BB pumps | Purse: Tory Burch mini Robinson satchel (similar HERE) | Necklace: BP. (similar HERE)
Shirt: Off the shoulder striped flounce top (similar HERE, wearing THIS strapless bra) | Jeans: Free People high rise jeans (size 24) | Shoes: Louboutin pigalle follies
FYI – these jeans that I love so much are back in stock! They run small so size up. They are very flattering and slimming – love the fit so much.
Hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend! XO
