Basic Casual Spring Outfit

pink long linen cardigan striped peplum top scalloped tote casual spring outfit

Hope you had a wonderful Easter weekend!  A few sale updates in case you may have missed my Friday weekend sale post.  Get 50% off Ann Taylor (use code: YESPLEASE).  I love this chambray trench coat and ordered it to try out.  Loft is also having 50% off with code: SPRING plus free shipping (have THIS and THIS).  Wanted to share this basic casual outfit I wore the other week and almost forgot to post it.  It’s basically my spring uniform – comfy top, long cardigan and jeans!  You can never go wrong with any of these basics.  Plus my striped peplum top is under $40!

This long linen cardigan was so popular last year and sold out almost immediately.  It’s now restocked in all sizes and comes in twelve different colors.  I love it so much that I have it in two colors (see previous post HERE and HERE) .  It’s lightweight and can even double as a beach coverup!  Available in both regular and petite sizing.  I’m wearing size XXSP and it fits slightly large so size down if possible.

I clearly have a problem with stripes and peplum tops.  This top is under $40 plus free shipping.  It’s great for hiding food babies. LOL

This is totally off topic but I wanted to share this scalloped one piece bathing suit I just got and it runs small.  Size XS fits me perfectly and  is petite friendly.  It also has support and built in inserts go give your chest a little oomph.  I remember getting this 1-2 years ago and for some reason never posted about it since I already had my navy scalloped one piece from Marysia Swim.  I also ordered this one shoulder suit and still debating if I can pull it off (lol).  Target has tons of scalloped swimwear for a fraction of the price of designer ones.  Shockingly the quality is very nice too!  I also love this ruffled one piece – so pretty!
