This week I was finally able to treat myself to a professional manicure and pedicure. I love the feeling of pretty nails and toes! It’s been three and a half years since I’ve had one and boy was I overdue. I stopped getting them when I was pregnant and it has not been easy having chipped nail polish and doing what I do. I also indulged in a feast at Mastro’s Restaurant and filled my belly with king crab legs, lobster mashed potato and their famous butter cake. OMG it was heaven!
I know what you’re probably thinking…omg another scalloped dress? How many scalloped dresses does one woman need? The answer is there are never enough. LOL I promise I do not have this color in my closet so that justifies it right?
Lately, I’ve had a lot of luck with Aqua dresses from Bloomingdale’s. I mentioned in this post how petite friendly they are and recently picked up a bunch of dresses on sale! The navy color was my first choice however they were all sold out of XS so I settled for sky blue instead. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I liked this color. Perfect for Summer!
Sizing runs small so I’d recommend sizing up. I’m wearing size XS and it fits similar to a 00 petite. The high cut round collar is very flattering and luckily the sides do not reveal your strapless bra. There’s a concealed zipper in the back and the fabric is medium weight. The length hits me right above my knees (not too long and definitely not too short). Great length for petite gals.
I adore the scalloped near the shoulders and hem – so cute! It’s simple, classic and perfect for hot summer nights. The sky blue color is gorgeous in real life. I wore this adorable bow detail dress to dinner this week and now as I write this, it’s currently on sale. Woo hoo! Here are some other dresses I just bought:
