Hope everyone is having a great week so far! I don’t have much time to write so I’m sorry for the short post. You can see the before and after pics of this skirt here. I was happy to find this vintage plaid skirt with such tiny waist and pockets! The wool is nice and thick and only required taking up the hem. I love the pattern of the plaid and definitely is much cuter than most of the plaid skirts I’ve seen online and in stores.  I wasn’t sure if I could make the a-line/full skirt work but it’s a nice change from my typical pencil style. Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

  1. Great outfit Annie! The full skirt is so girly. I love the first picture since it shows off the color blocking best. 🙂

  2. I have one plaid skirt and it too is vintage, from the 60s I believe. I’ve left it its original length, I’d say it compares to your original length. It’s pleated, and despite the length it thankfully doesn’t shorten me. It can be hard to find the right plaid that makes you happy, so I was very pleased when I found this treasure. =)
I think you will have a lot of fun styling this piece many different ways. Thanks for sharing!

  7. Wow, I love this look on you! It has given me so many ideas with all the thrifted plaid skirts I own but at almost floor length, lol! I love the ideas you have given me to put a chambray shirt under a sweater or tee like that. Definitely something I could wear for the warmer weather.
