I’m pretty sure you have heard of eShakti but in case you haven’t, they are an online clothing store that offer both style and fit customization for women sizes 0-36.  You can customize your item for only $7.50 (free with your first order). You have the option of changing necklines, sleeves and length of item.  You can even remove the pockets.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and craftsmanship of this dress. The only thing I have to complain about is that on one side of the dress, the stripes don’t line up perfectly.  It’s 100% cotton including the lining.  The straps have built in bra strap holder with snap button closure so you don’t have to worry about your bra strap showing or falling down (love this feature).  I wish all dresses had this! It seems easy enough to do a DIY.

I adore the sweetheart neckline and think it’s very flattering.  I was afraid it would be too low cut but it’s not bad.  I wanted to wear this dress with my new hot pink sandals but it’s taking them forever to arrive.

I chose to do a custom size and I am very happy with how it came out. My advice is to make sure you have someone properly measure you (and use your true height) because even a slight variation in measurements can make a difference. What’s nice is that Eshakti saves your measurements so you only have to do it once.

When I first tried this dress on, I thought the knee length was a bit too long but after taking these pics, I think I made the right decision. What do you think?

I also like this Graphic Stripe Poplin Dress and reminds me of my Loft strapless one. I adore the Her Fifties Floral print dress but it’s currently out of stock.
Have you tried eShakti?

  1. I think the length is lovely and perfect with the nude heels. I just ordered my own Eshakti piece (first time buyer, a skirt) and you make me wish I’d chosen a dress!

  2. I like a lot of their skirts, but I’ve contacted them once or twice but I’ve had a tough time with Eshakti’s customer service. After doing some research since and finding many other people with the same issue, I think it would be hard to convince me to utilize their services.

  3. Pretty dress Annie. I like how it turned out and the knee length is perfect for the vintage vibe it gives off. 🙂 Thanks for sharing a picture of the thicker strap holders inside the dress. I’ve been seeing a few tops with this feature as well but always with the delicate stringy version.

  4. So pretty on you! it definitely does not look too long. Mine was way way long so I really had to get it altered. I love the red one you have too!

  5. I noticed it says the dress is navy/cream however in photos it looks white. In person is it more cream or white?

  6. You made some good points there. I checked on the internet for more information about the issue and found
most individuals will go along with your views on this site.
