Reviews and Recent Purchases

The last couple of days have been tough for me.  Milan’s upper teeth are coming in started to come in and she’s been teething big time.  Poor baby girl got a super high fever (almost 104) and is experiencing major discomfort.  She’s usually so happy and sassy so it pains me to see her not feeling well.  Anyway, I wanted to share some outfits, recent purchases and good sales going on this weekend.  Get 50% off at LOFT on select styles.  Click HERE to shop the sale.  My sweater dress from THIS POST is on sale!  Anthropologie is having an extra 40% off sale items. Click HERE to shop the sale.  I’m loving this cascade peplum top (comes in three colors and petites) and this scalloped lace tank.Plaid cardigan, Halogen bow pumps

Plaid cardigan (back in stock) // Jeans (similar HERE) // Halogen bow pumps (similar HERE) // Chanel bag (similar HERE)

One of my favorite plaid cardigan is back in stock!  There’s only one size however it does run small.  It’s petite friendly and I would recommend.  See the original post and more photos HERE.

Ann Taylor striped tee (similar HERE) // Sweater vest (XXSP) // Distressed ankle jeans (24P) // Vince Camuto ankle booties

My LOFT order came from this post and this sweater vest was one of my favorite purchases.  I didn’t have time to steam it so please excuse the wrinkles and lines.  It drapes really nicely and size XXSP fits perfectly.

I had high hopes for this purple lace peplum top but it runs extra large.   I’m wearing XXSP and it’s huge.  It’s hard to tell from this angle but the top is very wide.  The sleeves are way too long for me but I love the color and style.  I’ll have to figure out if it’s worth alterations.  I’d recommend sizing down.

Banana Republic red scalloped skirt

How gorgeous is the scalloped skirt?  The red color is gorgeous for the upcoming holidays.  It’s currently on sale for under $50!  Comes in petite sizes too!  If you are a card member, use BRTHANKS for an extra 10% off your order.  If red isn’t your color, it also comes in navy – obviously I ordered it.

Banana Republic red scalloped dress

Banana Republic is back in business!  As I mentioned recently, I stopped shopping here for the longest time because their styles changed so much but now they are back to having great stuff.  I also ordered this red scalloped dress to try.  I clearly cannot say no to anything scalloped.  It’s currently on sale, has pockets and comes in petite sizes.  I also have my eye on this faux fur collar cardigan and this dot ruffle sleeve dress – waiting for the next sale.

This outfit is from a couple years ago but if love ponchos as much as I do, you’ll want to check out THIS POST.  I recently came across this cable knit poncho in the kids section.  It looks pretty promising!  I ordered to see how the fit is – will review soon.  I typically wear a size large or XL in girls in case you want to order it and try for yourself.

Cable knit poncho (size s/m, on sale for $23.99, color: gull marl) // Striped turtleneck (similar HERE) // Black ponte pants // Grey OTK boots (on sale)

I am loving this cable knit poncho so much!  It comes in 4 colors and is so cozy!  I can’t believe it’s on sale for only $23.99.  I’m wearing size S/M and it fits.  It’s a bit oversized but not too bad.  I was afraid the length would be too long but it’s a decent length.  The color is called grain marl.  I also got gull marl (grey color).  This is an insane price for great poncho.  Would highly recommend.  Sale ends tomorrow so get it for this price while you can.

  1. Love your style and outfit ideas. Question about the Shein plaid cardigan would you be able to tell me what fabric it is. Online it says Knit – not sure what that means. I am allergic to Wool and Cashmere so don’t want to purchase if that it has any of that.

  2. Could you tell me what the “official” color is of the Karen Scott poncho in the brown/camel you are wearing? It came in two shades of brown, and the one online now looks darker than yours (java brownie). I think there was a lighter color called grain something. Thanks!

  3. My programmer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP.

I have always disliked the idea because of
the costs. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type
on various websites for about a year and am concerned about
switching to another platform. I have heard fantastic things about blogengine.net.
Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into
it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  4. Aw, this was a really good post. Taking the time and actual effort to generate a really
good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate a lot and never seem to
    get nearly anything done.

  5. It’s appropriate time to make a few plans for the long run and it is time
to be happy. I have read this submit and if I may just I desire to
recommend you some attention-grabbing things or suggestions.
Maybe you could write subsequent articles regarding this article.
I want to learn more issues approximately it!

  6. With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement?
My website has a lot of exclusive content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my permission. Do
you know any solutions to help prevent content from being stolen? I’d certainly appreciate
    it.

  7. Howdy! This post could not be written any better! Reading this post reminds me of my previous room mate!

He always kept talking about this. I will forward this page to him.
Pretty sure he will have a good read. Thank you
    for sharing!
