Tulle Skirt and Blush Wrap Cardigan

Today I’m channeling my inner ballerina.  Okay I have absolutely no dancing skills but this outfit reminds me of a ballerina (lol).  It’s no secret I love pink and tulle skirts.  Combine the two together and you have the perfect feminine outfit.  I’ve always been super girly and even though I’m a busy mommy, I really try to make it a point to dress up.  Even if there’s no special occasion, I want to look and feel great.  I think it’s so important to do this once in awhile!  It’s amazing what an outfit can do to your self-esteem and confidence.

Tulle skirts aren’t just for parties or holidays anymore!  I wear tulle skirts whenever I feel like it.  Playing dress up never gets old and always makes me feel good.  If you love the idea of tulle skirts but have never thought you could pull it off because it’s too poofy – then this is the perfect option!  It’s a great balance between your typical tulle skirt and classic cream a-line skirt.  You get the look and feel of a tulle skirt but it’s understated, elegant and classy.  You won’t have to save this for a special occasion, you can wear it any time!

Sizing runs true to size and yes it’s petite friendly.  The waist is elasticized in the back and has a little stretch.  This is great for small waisted ladies and those who are in-between sizes.  The length measures 23.5″ which is just the right length for this type of skirt.  It has many layers and luckily is NOT see through.  I can definitely see this being a closet favorite of mine. 🙂

This blush wrap cardigan is everything!  I have several cardigans from ModCloth and I’m telling you, they are amazing and this one is no exception.  I love how versatile it is.  You can layer it over a blouse with a high waisted skirt (like I did) or throw it over a dress – so cute!  Click HERE to see all the color options.

I also just got THIS cardigan and can’t wait to wear it.  If you’ve never shopped at ModCloth before, you need to start.  It’s one of my favorite places to shop.  I love their vintage, girly and modest vibe.  They also have their own brand label and carry sizes XXS-4X.  So many swoon worthy items and they never seem to disappoint!  See some of my favorite outfits HERE, HERE and HERE.
