Knitted dress (size small, buy I’m so in love with this dress! It’s always a plus when you find something that is flattering and has a lot of give in the stomach area. Since giving birth to Milan, I’ve had to re-adjust my wardrobe to accommodate my new body. It has not been easy! I have to patient with myself since I’m breastfeeding and need the extra calories.
I wish I would have found this dress when I was pregnant because it would have been so perfect! If you happen to be expecting, you need this dress – it’s so comfortable and has plenty of room for a growing bump! I adore the color so much. It’s a blush nude shade and way prettier in real life than in the photos. I was afraid it was going to wash my skin tone out but luckily it doesn’t.
I know I’ve said this a million times but I love dresses with sleeves! This is a great dress for work especially if you don’t like showing your arms or your work doesn’t allow for sleeveless dresses or shirts. I really like how conservative the length is. It hits me below the knees and could possibly be too long if you prefer a shorter hem. As a reference, I’m 5′ tall. The surplice v-shape neckline gives you moderate coverage and doesn’t show too much cleavage even if you have a bigger bust.
The dress is unlined however it’s a heavier knit material so there’s no need to wear a slip underneath. The silhouette is so feminine and allows for a lot of flexibility. If you struggle with a tummy pouch, this conceals it really well (yay!).
