c/o I love when you find an item that just makes you feel good. This dress definitely makes me happy. It’s just one of those dresses that you want to twirl around in. It would make a great outfit for a Summer wedding, Church or even work. Is this not the prettiest dress you’ve ever seen? It’s so perfect for Summer.
I love the red floral print against the cream background. It’s bold but still classy and elegant. Conservative but still sexy. I love it to pieces and the best part is? It comes in extra small petite!
Here are the measurements of XSP:shoulders 13′, armpit to armpit 16″, armpit drop 7″ (8″ original), waist 13.5″, total length 36.5″.
The only thing I had to alter were the straps. They were a bit long so I took them up one inch on each side. By doing so, the neckline is a little bit higher and it made the armholes smaller. Make sure to measure properly if you are doing it yourself. The waist is loose on me but doable. This dress is fully lined and machine washable. I was afraid the length would be too long but luckily it’s perfect on someone my height (5′ tall).
Here’s the back of the dress. There’s a hidden zipper in the middle which makes putting on and taking off the dress so much easier than a side zipper. I think how the back looks is just as important as the front. I’m really glad the scoop isn’t too low and your bra isn’t exposed. This passes my test!

I think I’m going to find every excuse in the book to wear this dress. It’s good for those days that you don’t feel so cute but then once you put it on, it just changes your mood. If you want to wear this to work, simply add a cropped cardigan, skinny belt and nude pumps for a more office appropriate look.

Those pumps are PERFECT with that dress! I really love the full ladylike skirts and dresses and great to know there are some petite friendly options! You inspired me a while ago to order the black and white striped skirt from ChicWish and I picked up a blue pleated maxi skirt in hopes of wearing them on vacation in Italy (channeling my inner Grace Kelly/Audrey Hepburn in Roman Holiday of course!) Only thing that’s a bummer is ChicWish’s shipping takes quite a long time! I’ve ordered on the 17th and my shipment has not arrived ughh I’m so anxious but hopefully the wait will be worth it!
