I have had several requests from some lovely readers for a Chanel collection post so here it is! Although I don’t have a large collection, I thought it would be much easier to do a video than a post…..and now I remember why I stopped doing videos! It’s much harder than it seems and I was about out to give up until my lovely husband stepped in and helped me edit the video. If it wasn’t for him, this video and post would have been trashed:(

I LOVE the last one, it is so classic! Gold and black can sometimes be tacky, but there is nothing tacky about Chanel! My handbag designer of choice is currently Balenciaga..what an expensive habit 🙂

Annie, you look adorable in your video. Love it! It was such fun watching you going through your Chanel collections. Just want to share a few tips that my SA told me while I was there yesterday. She said for light beige lamb skin bags (not caviar) you probably want to seal it (Chanel does it for you). If you are wearing a dark colored piece of clothing, the color can transfer to the bag. It's too late when that happens. I guess the lamb skin is more porous and susceptible to color transfer. Something that you might want to consider, or just be careful when you are wearing dark clothes.

My fav is definitely the medium classic double flap bag. I was planning to buy one 2 weeks ago but backed out the last minute due to the price. I just couldn't spend that much moolah on a bag. Maybe in 4 yrs when I turn 40!
Drooling over your collection! I have long wanted to add a Chanel to my collection but all you bloggers are motivating me even more. After seeing this, I definitely want to get Caviar over Lambskin. I had lambskin Balenciagas which were super soft and luxe, but I was always afraid of it getting scratched / marred. Hubby has already agreed to buy me one as my mommy present 😀
I am so glad you did this video!!! I have always enjoyed watching every one of your videos. This video seriously made me rethink my choice, the GST is beautiful and seems well structured as a brand new bag but seems to lose its boxy shape over time especially on both sides. I would cry especially at that price.

I have a solution for your GST without adding creases. DO NOT STORE IT AWAY UPRIGHT AS SUGGESTED. GST or PST is a top handle bag, the heavy weight of hardware handles will drag and sag your bag if let seated on its bottom. Empty out the bag and just hang it on a coat rack after each use. Allow the leather to relax to its original shape. Trust me on this one! It works on all my top heavy bags.

Chanel's are not sold online at Bloomingdales. You have to go in-store and only certain Bloomie's have Chanel boutiques. This promo was last year so not sure if they will run it again 🙁
