How gorgeous is this floral maxi skirt? I’m always on the hunt for petite friendly maxi skirts that don’t require any alterations. The struggle is real!
I wasn’t really expecting this skirt to fit nor did I expect to like it. Low and behold I ended up loving it AND it fits? Say what? Yes! The best part is that it’s so affordable! Sizing runs on the smaller side so if you are in between sizes, I’d recommend sizing up. I’m wearing size XS and it fits nicely. Slightly loose in the waist but nothing a full meal can’t fix. The length is great however if you are 5′ or under, you will need to wear some tall sandals. I’m wearing my Marc Fisher espadrille sandals and makes the overall length just right.
You can wear this as a regular maxi skirt or as a beach cover up. I wore it to the beach and got so many compliments! It’s so flowy and the slit is on point.

This is totally unrelated to this post but wanted to share in case small sizes sell out! I just got these distressed skinny ankle jeans and OMG they are amazing! Perfect amount of distressing (not too much) and the hole on the knee area actually lands on my knees! Hallelujah! I’ll review them later this week but get them before they are gone. 🙂

That skirt is a beautiful pattern. I normally don’t wear maxis because I feel they overwhelm me too much and make me look shorter (as if being short were undesirable – nothing wrong with shortness!) but I would wear this in a heartbeat. The slit makes it look sexy and demure at the same time.
