It’s hard to believe that my baby girl is 3.5 and already into pretend makeup. I fought it for as long as I could but finally caved.
She really wanted a vanity set to do her pretend makeup at. I was looking for something girly and affordable. I came across this Step 2 Girls Pretend Fantasy Play Set and thought it would be perfect for Milan.
I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy and nice this vanity set was. It has a working light at the top that shuts off after 5 minutes. FYI – it does require four AAA batteries that are not included.
There’s also some molded storage compartments your little one can store lipsticks, nail polishes and other makeup items. The sticker decals really dress it up and add a touch of girly flair. This was Milan’s favorite part.
The best part? The mirror is shatterproof! This was one concern I had and didn’t want to worry about this while she’s playing in her room. The matching stool is perfect and doesn’t wobble at all.
She was so excited about this and has played with it every single day since we moved in.
It literally melts my heart watching her play. She’s growing up way too fast.
I also wanted to mention that it comes with a hand mirror, brush and comb. This was a bonus and made me so happy. Plus it has a cute little drawer that functions and your little girl can store stuff in. So adorable!
I’m happy to report this vanity set is currently on sale and it’s such an amazing price. Walmart seriously has everything. Most of the toys and items in Milan’s playroom are from Walmart. I love that I don’t have to spend a fortune on toys especially when she outgrows them so quickly. Milan loves this so much and I definitely approve. Would recommend!
