When I found out I was pregnant with Meadow, I started to panic about all the things I needed because I didn’t have any of Milan’s baby items. Today I’m reviewing this Silver Cross Wave Convertible stroller. You’ll definitely want to read this if you’re expecting or in need of a new stroller.
There are so many options for strollers that it can make your head spin. After doing a ton of research and comparing each one, I ultimately decided on the Silver Cross Wave Convertible stroller. I wanted something not only functional but aesthetically pleasing and high quality.
Weight/Dimensions
24.2 lb. chassis; 7.3 lb. bassinet; 6.5 lb. seat; 37″ x 23.6″ x 15″ folded chassis; 43.7″ x 23.6″ x 37.4–43″ unfolded chassis.
Compatibility
This stroller is compatible with the following car seats: Maxi-Cosi® Mico 30 and Mico Max 30; nuna PIPA™, PIPA Lite and PIPA Lite LX; CYBEX Aton, Aton Q and Cloud Q and Clek Liing car seats.
Pros
There is no denying that the Silver Cross Wave is jaw dropping gorgeous. It’s sleek and classy and makes me giddy. Is that weird that I can get THIS excited about a stroller? It’s understated elegance yet still super functional. This stroller screams luxury. As soon as I opened the box, I could tell that they spared no expense when it came to the details. Every single inch was thought out carefully and executed beautifully.
I love that this stroller is suitable from birth because it comes with a beautiful bassinet. It can also be used as a double stroller straight out of the box. An extra toddler seat is sold separately HERE. If you have a third child, you can also opt for the stroller board. Another reason I chose this stroller over all the other ones is because the seat is great for older children. The weight limit for the main seat is 55 lbs. (vs. 50 lbs. for other brands) and 45 lbs. for the second tandem seat (35 lbs. for other brands).
The Silver Cross Wave has excellent maneuverability. I wanted something that could handle a variety of terrain. We love going to the beach and long walks so this was a very important factor. It has amazing suspension and can definitely handle sand and bumpy roads.
My favorite thing about this stroller is how it folds. It folds flat and so easy. I used to have to do a funky chicken dance when trying to fold my other strollers (lol).
One last thing I wanted to mention since I know a lot of petite ladies have already asked about the handlebars and whether or not it’s adjustable. I’m happy to report that YES it is indeed adjustable making it petite friendly! The handlebars can be raised and lowered to your comfort level and height. As you can see in the photos, the position I have it in sits below my waist (I’m under 5′ tall).
Another positive attribute is how many ways you can use this stroller. There are 7 different configurations with the included bassinet and 30 configurations when used with other accessories (sold separately). I’ve been using the bassinet for Meadow Ivy for the past two months and she loves it.

Cons
There are only two (potential) cons that I could find with the Silver Cross Wave. The first one is the weight. It’s a tank. I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to lift it but luckily I can even without help. I would recommend making sure this will fit into your trunk.
Last but not least, the price. It’s not cheap BUT you are paying for luxury and quality. You get what you pay for and trust me it’s worth it.
I have the best news ever! It’s FINALLY on sale!! This rarely happens so now is the time to buy it if you’ve been on the fence. The sale is valid through Labor Day.
