Mixing High End + Affordable Fashion

Sharing how I mix high end with affordable fashion…

Jacket: BLANKNYC faux leather moto jacket (size XS) | Skirt: Scoop metallic sweater skirt (size XS) | Bodysuit: Abercrombie (similar HERE or HERE) | Shoes: c/o Ann Taylor Jodie suede mule pumps | Necklace: Bracha Initial pendant necklace + similar chain link | Sunglasses: Miu Miu (brown color HERE) | Bag: Chanel vanity (pre-owned HERE)

I love mixing high end designers with affordable fashion.  As much as we all love designer labels, let’s be real, it’s unrealistic.  A wardrobe that consists of 100% designer labels doesn’t make sense for most of us.  Yes that’s a Chanel handbag paired with a $26 Walmart skirt!  To me, this outfit looks and feels expensive but the only expensive item is my Chanel vanity bag (gift from Mr. Right).

I think the key to being able to mix designer pieces with affordable fashion is sticking to what you love and what makes YOU FEEL GOOD.  When you love what you are wearing, you look and feel more confident.  I honestly don’t care where things are from.  If I feel good in it, that’s all that matters.  I love a good deal but I also love my designer handbags.  Every piece in this outfit is from a different retailer and all affordable.  I believe my Abercrombie bodysuit is from last year and I got it on major clearance for under $20.

Most of my designer pieces are accessories like handbags and shoes.  I have a weakness for Chanel costume jewelry too. 🙂

Adding a designer piece to your outfit elevates it to another level.  I’m planning on wearing this to celebrate Mr. Right’s upcoming birthday.  He wanted to keep it low key but I don’t know what that means! Haha. We will splitting his birthday up into 3 parts due to work, schedules and kids.
