Family Friendly Things To Do In Vegas

Sharing 10 family friendly things to do in Vegas!

Our recent trip to Las Vegas was a blast! It was Milan’s third visit and Meadow’s second, and I must admit, I used to steer clear of Vegas like the plague. But with each year, I find myself falling more in love with the city, despite not being a fan of gambling or smoke-filled rooms. Turns out, Vegas can be a family-friendly destination packed with fun activities! Traveling with kids is no walk in the park, but with a little patience and a lot of laughter, it’s totally doable. I’m on a mission to instill a love for travel in my girls, believing that experiences trump toys any day.

Here are some of our favorite family friendly Vegas spots:

1. Bellagio Water Show

The Fountains of Bellagio offer a spectacular free show, perfect for capturing memorable photos. Check out the schedule for showtimes below:

Monday – Friday: There is a show every half hour from 3 p.m. – 8 p.m. and every 15 minutes from 8 p.m. – midnight. Saturdays: The show runs every half hour from noon – 8 p.m. and every 15 minutes from 8 p.m. – midnight.

2. Gondola Ride

While gondola rides may seem reserved for couples, they’re also a hit with kids! Opt for an indoor ride at the Venetian Hotel for a charming experience complete with Italian serenades.

{Location: 3716 South Las Vegas Blvd. – between the Cosmopolitan and The Shops at Crystals}

Escape the chaos and dive into a world of optical illusions at this entertaining museum suitable for both kids and adults

{Location: 3778 S Las Vegas Blvd}
Don’t miss the adorable Hello Kitty Cafe Truck for a sweet treat and a break from the hustle and bustle. There’s also another location that is an actual cafe at Fashion Show (so mad we didn’t have time for this). I am a huge Hello Kitty fan so I had to take the girls here.
{Location: Venetian Hotel}
Experience the chill at this family-friendly ice bar where even the kids can join in. They provide cozy jackets and hats (you get to keep the hats), making it a cool experience for all.

{Located in Showcase Mall –Β  3785 South Las Vegas Blvd., – next to the MGM Hotel & Casino}

Treat the kids (and yourself) to a visit to the M&M Store for a colorful and fun-filled adventure. Just be prepared to leave with more candy than you planned for!

{Location: 3790 S Las Vegas Blvd – New York New York hotel}
Indulge your sweet tooth and delight the kids with a visit to Hershey’s Chocolate World. Don’t miss the photo op outside!

8. Bellagio Buffet (Bellagio Hotel)

I am not a buffet person however you have to try at least one while you are in Vegas. The Bellagio brunch is my favorite. They had everything and the kids went crazy. So many delicious desserts and even had all you can eat snow crab legs – I was in heaven. Would highly recommend.

9. Blue Man Group Show

Treat the family to the mesmerizing Blue Man Group Show, featuring interactive elements that will have everyone entertained.

10. MJ Live Show

{Location: Tropicana Hotel – soon to be relocated}

This show in Vegas is an absolute must-see! It’s family-friendly, and the fantastic part is that children aged 5-12 get free admission with just one paid adult ticket. We loved the show so much that we attended it two nights in a row! Milan, in particular, became captivated, expressing a desire to return for her upcoming 9th birthday.

Jalles Franca, the artist behind the show, was nothing short of amazing, showcasing incredible talent. What sets this experience apart is its live nature – Jalles Franca sings without any lip-syncing, adding an authentic touch to the performance. The audience interaction was a highlight, and it made the show incredibly enjoyable. We were seated in the VIP section, and it’s absolutely worth it for an enhanced experience.

A memorable moment occurred when Jalles Franca jumped down right in front of our table, giving Meadow a high-five. Milan’s excitement reached its peak when she managed to catch a free shirt during the show. After the performance, we had the pleasure of meeting Jalles Franca, who proved to be humble, kind, and took his time with each fan. There was no sense of rush or pressure. We seized the opportunity to capture memories with photos and selfies, and he graciously signed Milan’s t-shirt and Meadow’s Frozen book. For those seeking a lasting memento, the option to purchase a professionally taken photo with a MJ Live frame is available. We highly recommend this show, and without a doubt, we’ll be returning to experience it again!

Our Vegas adventure was filled with laughter, wonder, and unforgettable moments. Can’t wait to do it all over again!
