I absolutely love shrugs/bolero’s! I think they look so cute over dresses where you want to cover up or if the turn a summer dress into a wearable winter dress.
Sorry for the ultra boring background- it’s the only place in my office that has some wall space that I can stand infront of 🙂 I love the color combo pink and black- so pretty! Warning- the cut on this dress is VERY low so I had to put a black cami underneath. And you can opt to wear a shrug or not but I prefer a shrug. The fit is very petite friendly- the waist and arm holes fit nicely. The length is not too short even though it’s considered a “mini”. It has cute pockets you can tuck your hands in and a black satin waist accent. You really cannot beat the price! This goes to show you can look great without breaking the bank!

A note about Forever 21 dresses- for me- is usually hit or miss. The quality is not the best but sometimes you can find super cute deals that you just can’t pass up especially because of the price point. So be careful when buying dresses from here. The sizes run small so it’s very petite friendly which is great for us petite girls 🙂
I have been SHRUG shopping and tried many different brands and sizes. This White House/Black Market black shrug is VERY petite friendly. I got an XXS and the arms and everything fit perfectly! The material is a blend of silk and cotton so it’s not a cheap look. There are tons of shrugs/bolero’s out there but you really do get what you pay for!
