As you all may know, I have been on a perfect pair of jeans hunt for quite some time. I don’t own too many pairs simply because it’s just too difficult for me to find the right fit. I have one H & M young (girls) dark denim skinny jeans in size 11/12 and a few Y.M.I’s from a million years ago but that’s about it! I was perusing late at night on Gap.com and found a pair of skinny cropped petite jeans on sale for only $24.99 and still available in 00p. I thought how is it possible that there is still a 00p left?? I have never had much luck with any Gap jeans but I said what the heck! Well here they are: (warning- terrible photos)

SIZE/FIT:I was shocked when I opened up the package and the jeans appeared to be small! I quickly tried them on and much to my surprise, the cropped jeans in 00p is petite friendly! No gap in the back waist, and the thighs, and hips fit! The denim material is no too thick or too thin, it felt nice. I like cropped jeans because I always end up cropping my H & M skinny jeans anyway so this is nice! You can wear them cuffed like the model or un-cuffed, I prefer un-cuffed! They even came pre-cuffed.
QUALITY:Gap Jeans in my opinion are pretty nice quality and made quite well. The stitching is very clean and straight. They seem to be well made and I know they last forever! I have never owned a pair before but hubby has had some for years.
PRICE POINT: If you get GAP denim on sale, then the price point is low but if you pay full price, it’s in the medim-higher range. It’s not as expensive as high end designers but still good quality for the price.
VERDICT:Keeping! Trust me- they look much better and more flattering in person! I just did a horrible job at taking photos because of my time constraints! For $24.99 and they fit, its definitely a keeper! Not everyone is a fan of cropped pants/denim for petites because it may shorten our already short legs….any thoughts?
SIZE/FIT: I had high hopes for these but they fit differently than the cropped even though both are 00p. So obviously the cut has a lot to do with the sizing of the petite Gap Denim. There is a big gap in the back – which I cannot stand! And thru the thighs and hips fit but just looks and feels funny. A little too baggy in some areas and just doesn’t flow like it should. Unlike the cropped denim’s- you just know instantly that it doesn’t fit right. The length is a couple inches too long for my taste. I’m curious if the straight leg skinnies may be better for my body. Any thoughts?

I was thinking about trying the GAP ones. I heard they were running smaller this season. It was pretty rare for me to find jeans that fit until I went high-end (I think MAVI was the only brand that fit pretty consistently). Now I have way more jeans than any one girl really needs!
I like the first pair – curious – are those on sale since they are from last season?
I was just at the Gap today and tried on a pair of the forever skinny jeans in 00 (non petite) and they fit me really well – I just didn't lik the washes available. I wonder how different the 00P's are. There were also a pair of skinny jeans on the sale rack in 00 and I could not even get them past my butt LOL! In reference to Cher's comment, I don't know if it's true then that they are running smaller this season. I came home with a pair of the "always skinny" cropped jeans and the skinny jegging both 00 non petite. I will post a review soon!
I find it so interesting how differently people prefer the lengths of their skinny jeans or what they think looks good on them. I say whatever you're comfortable with is how you should wear it.
IMO, I think uncuffing the first pair of jeans makes it look so awkward @ the bottom. I instantly noticed that the ankle opening is too big in the side photo (5th picture), making it look more like a straight leg. If it was a true skinny (which I assume is the look you wanted by uncuffing it), it'd hug the ankles much tighter. I think it's meant to be cuffed like how the model is wearing it. I'd love to see how it looks on you the way it came (cuffed).
I know you said the length of the Forever Skinny jeans (2nd pair) is too long for your taste, but I think it fits you exactly how it's supposed to. Compared to Gap's photo, the length on you is the same as advertised on the model. Unfortunately, the gap in the back makes it an automatic no-no.
P.S. I tried on the F21's Love21 Ruffled Silk Surplice Top that you want in an XS. It runs very very big! Also it's a faux wrap, so you can't adjust it.

I agree, it should be returned. The fit just isn't right, but skirts sure do look fantastic on you! By the way, that is a cuuute top!
