Lookbook: Girly Pink Pearls and Lace

Any readers that have been with me for awhile know that I am very girly:) I love anything pink and this is one of my most girly outfits I have posted! I found this pink lace skirt in-store at F21 and this H & M gray suede stretch belt and was shocked at how tiny both were!

Top: H & M Divided Tee- size 2 (similar HERE)
Skirt: Forever 21 Lace Skirt– size XS (sold  HERE)
Shoes: Ann Taylor Granite Pumps– size 5 (available HERE)
Necklace: Pink Long Strand Pearls (similar HERE)
Belt: H & M – size XS (similar HERE)
I am in a different room! Hooray! Finally found one of my guest bedrooms with somewhat decent lighting.

I am not usually a “t-shirt” type of girl but I love H & M’s divided tee’s. I have them in several colors and the size 2 is very fitted (which I love). I like pairing plain and fitted tees with ornate or detailed skirts.
This gray stretchy belt, I just got recently for only $7.95 and it fits like a glove. Being petite and having a size 23 waist is very difficult for me to find belts. Even if I wear them on my lower waist, I still can’t find belts that fit! I have several H & M belts in XS that seems to do the trick.
This skirt is lined which is nice so you don’t have to worry about it being see-thru although you do have to wear nude panties just to be safe!
Pink and gray and one of my favorite color combos for outfits! Whether it’s a work or casual outfit, I love pairing the two together. The  tag on the skirt says its peach but it’s really more of a light baby pink.
I just love these type of outfits! They are comfortable, cute and easy to throw on for a day out.

Even though these Ann Taylor pumps don’t fit me perfectly, I am making them work because they are so nice!
If you want to replicate this look:
1. Scoopneck Gray Tee– size XS
2. Lace skirt- size XS
4. Gray Sued Pumps– size 5
5. Light Gray Stretch Belt (almost identical)

I normally would have never thought to pair this belt with this outfit. Before starting this blog, I would have just tucked in the shirt with the skirt with no accessories or belt. I am forcing myself to be creative!
I forgot to add my small flap Chanel purse….darn it!

I should be getting my other F21 and AE items in the mail soon so stay tuned for a review!

If you are looking for a tiny belt and a tiny skirt– go find these two items! I couldn’t believe how perfect they fit! The skirt has an elastic waist band which is nice for small waists. Since this is from the F21 line, their XS’s always run very small.
I am still working on my blog sale but clearly I haven’t had time to finish everything. So hopefully soon- hang in there for me and hopefully people will want to buy things 🙂

  1. This outfit reminds me of what a ballerina would wear. I love grey and pink together (heck, grey goes with anything!)

  2. I just love this outfit, it's so feminine and pretty. Gray and pink is a combination that I too wear (too often, I fear).

I can't wait for your blog sale!

  3. I agree with Cee…its reminds me of a ballerina too! the skirt is a flattering length…short enough to show off enough legs but not too much. very classy 😉

  4. *sigh* your house is sooo beautiful! So feminine and airy and pretty! It suits you 🙂 You look lovely in this grey+pink ensemble!

  5. So feminine! And from the pictures we've seen, your house looks beautiful! May be you could give us a tour sometime? Haha, I would especially love to take a peak at your closet. Must be gorgeous!

  6. @C and @Ping- I do feel like a petite ballerina! LOL

@S- I finally was able to use my tripod and luckily the sun was shining somewhat in this guest room:) Hopefully I'll be able to find other rooms in my house!

@R.L. Ah thank you! Really a tour of my house? Hum…I think that's a great idea! I may even do a tour of my closet because I am trying to re-vamp it right now 🙂

  7. This is a great look! I would never have picked up a skirt like that, but again, seeing it on you makes me think twice about the things I pass up. Also, the tee is a nice change of pace for you. Good job!

  8. Very cute. I love the skirt, I saw a similar one at H&M.

I love pink and gray together too.

Great blog! Adding you to my list. 🙂

  9. I feel like the gray tones down the girly pink nicely. It's still girly and cute, but not over-the-top girly. Such a great balance! I'm realizing how petite you actually are…you look much taller in your work outfits.

Your guest bedroom is lovely 🙂 I'm moving soon and I've been eyeing white furniture like yours.

  10. you look great and so girly hehe. i didn't even bring my pink tutu to school because i think i would be stared at a little too much xD you pull this off so well!

i like this new room and am glad that f21 finally gave some great XS finds 😀 their XS skirts are usually pretty small. they had XS/S skinny belts for $2.50 last week but they immediately sold out online. i'm sure they would have been good because their S/M tightest notch doesn't even tighten anything on me

  11. Have you ever done a house post? I'd love to see the rest of your house! And how many guest bedrooms do you have? Haha
