Shopping at Nordstrom Rack tends to be quite chaotic and I have to be in the mood to really “dig” otherwise I just end up getting frustrated about the chaos. I did manage to scoop 2 Theory blazers up recently – both in 00. They were on the spendy side compared to the outlet sale prices but I just got so excited anytime I see a 00 and just get it just to have it. Here is the Theory “Fabion” Blazer:
Blazer: Theory “Fabion” Jacket- size 00 (similar HERE)
Pumps: Ann Taylor Porcini Pumps- size 5 (Walrus Color HERE)
Necklace: Grey 3 tiered pearls
Everything fit but the sleeves. I had to tuck them up about 3-4 inches. Will definitely have to get them shortened. Not sure why some Theory blazer sleeves fit perfectly while others are like a mile long.
I love this dark cobble color. It’s a mix of dark blue and grey which I have nothing like this in my closet and I found it in a 00? How can I resist?
Typcially, I don’t like short lapels or the buttons to sit so high on the jacket but I think I can get away with this….or am I just delusional?
The length is just right, not too long and it’s not cropped so I can wear it with different skirts.
This blazer was on sale for $149- a bit on the spendy side so I am torn on whether or not to keep it. It fits nice but will need sleeve alterations.

Yes this is more of a Spring outfit but for the purpose of this post- had to pair the blazer with something…this was the first thing I though of:)
This jacket was $415 on sale for $129- and needs no alterations…..sleeves and everything fit very nicely. It would look good with skinny jeans too…keep?

Oh man, I am not going to offer any reasonable advice because I am such a big fan of Theory blazers. Even though the first jacket would require alterations to fit I vote yes on keeping it. It looks great (nearly perfect) on you unbuttoned (Theory jackets don't like boobs, BOO! I am not as amply endowed as you are but I prefer my jacket open for that reason)
But the second jacket…seems really big on you. The sleeves look so big on you…maybe it's just the pictures but it seems a little too shiny which can look a little cheap?

i love the first jacket. i like the second color combo!! great finds at nord rack. i'm like you, i can't handle that store unless i'm in the right mood.
both jackets look really nice although i prefer the cut and color of the first one. the first jacket looks a tiny bit big on you but i don't think you would notice it once you get the sleeves altered.

I love the first blazer on you. The color is great; the fit is a bit odd buttoned up, but it's ok to leave it unbuttoned. The outfit was perfect with the white/cream skirt. The tweed skirt made everything seem sort of gloomy haha. I am so going to copy this outfit =)
I don't think the second blazer looks as good on you as the first. I'm surprised at the shininess of the fabric. The white/gray also seems harder to coordinate. I would say return this one and keep the first!
Oh, I love the first blazer! It looks so warm and such a nice dark color. I like it paired with the first outfit the best although it can work with a darker colored skirt. Not so much of a fan of the second blazer, I think it is too shiny for it to work.

@Elle- LOL I totally agree, Theory suits def don't like boobs- for some reason, the 00 jackets all fits in the bust area for me- I am narrow around the circumference but have a bigger bust:)
