There’s been a void in my life and that void was to have nice, fitted shells to add to my wardrobe. I am really particular about shells and have realized that they are super hard to find. I was elated when Jean found them at the AT Factory. I didn’t even hesitate and ordered all the colors. They finally arrived and now my void has been fulfilled! 🙂 I will start with my favorite one which is the petal front shell in pink:
This is like the perfect outfit for me. It’s exactly what I would prefer to wear to work everyday. Just classic and feminine.
Is this not the prettiest top ever? I bought the purple one last year from the Ann Taylor regular stores but the XSP was way too big and loose on me so I endedup returning it. I found that the petal shells fit a bit better than the ruffle front shell when tucked in. Not sure if it’s just me but that’s what I noticed when trying them all on.
I also go the white petal shell which is gorgeous too. These will be definitely a staple in my wardrobe.
The front ruffle shell came in 7 different colors(black, mud bath, seahorse/teal, soft pewter, periwinkle, royal/navy blue, dusty mauve). I am not 100% sure on the exact names but I tried my best to get it from the SA over the phone. Here is what they look like on me.
WOW…. these are some amazing looks – I think when I am done school and get a professional job I should definitely use you blog to help me create a work appropriate wardrobe!

Thanks so much for showcasing all of them! After hearing so much about the AT shells on Twitter, I was really curious to see the different colors. You styled them so elegantly and they all look gorgeous on you. My top two faves are the petal shell in pink and the ruffle shell in sea horse. We don't see you in teal often but you look great in it and I love how your brooch and ring match it perfectly. Great styling! Seriously, who would want to don on a button down ever again after seeing this post?

Question for you: Do you use an iron or steamer to iron these tops? I have been looking to purchase a steamer for a while, and haven't find one I like. Tried at least 10, and returned them all. I would love to see you write a post on how you dewrinkle your lovely clothes :).

But I did invest in a very nice commercial grade steamer called the JIFFY 4000. It's the only one that works. The hand held and cheapies do not work. Hope this helps! 😀

Love you in the seahorse color and the navy blue. From the picture, it looks like the brown might look even better paired with a lighter suit with more contrast – but still amazing! I don't blame you for buying them in each color – just wore my lavender colored one yesterday with a black suit and AT patent leather lavender skinny belt with the same Louboutins that you own (do you sometimes have a hard time walking in them like I do when you wear hose?).
Also, if you don't mind me asking, what camera are you using to take your pics? They always look so clear and amazing and so I'm contemplating getting one for my husband's birthday – so I can use it myself – I know – selfish!!

oh no grace just revealed to me she didn't get the seahorse color for me. that's what i was hoping, but I still love all the other colors. We ordered ours together to save S&H, but I'm not getting mine til tonight.
Wow, all of them are so pretty! I think hands down my favorite color is the dusty mauve. You are so tan, I'm so jealous! I gotta work on a tan before I bust out any of the lighter colors. I STILL haven't been charged for the shells yet and STILL haven't received them. Silly me that I accidently threw away the confirmation number list so there is no way of knowing. =0(
Where is the purple one by the way? I thought there was a purple color but I might be confused with the other 7 colors LOL!
