Pursuit for the Perfect Booties

**Update**
Just found and ordered these:

Also comes in black (avail in 4.5, 5, and 5.5)

I have been searching and scouring the internet/stores for the perfect pair of booties (ankle boots) for the longest time. It has to be the perfect silhouette (shaft can’t be too high past the ankle), heel height (3-3.5″) and toe (almond toe). I wanted something that I could wear casually as well as with tights to work. These are the closest I could find.  My Steve Madden “Pembrook” were a total fail because the 5.5’s were too big (not even blog worthy). Reviews said they run small so I pounced at the chance at them possibly fitting. They are the cheaper version of the highly desirable designer version.

I also purchased these suede beauties but will compare to see how they look on. They were on sale so I couldn’t resist. Still pretty expensive but if they fit and I love them, totally worth it for me. If you are looking for a lower heeled cognac bootie, this one is worth trying or if you are more of a platform type of girl, these are so nice.

I get super excited when I think I am the first to find an item to review and then another blogger beats me to it. I found these petite friendly boots (Facebook and Twitter friends heard it first) but probably won’t do a review since it’s already been done.

Hopefully my booties will work out! They are on the way right now!

Readers- any suggestions of other great brands or styles of booties?
