Yet another quick post just to show you the Banana Republic factory boyfriend cardigan (Style #882515-01-1-009). I love it so much and it fits so nicely. I highly recommend it. You can wear it un-buttoned and tucked in- either way, fits perfectly. With the upcoming Thanksgiving weekend sales, I’m sure this will go even cheaper. For those of you who do not live near an outlet, you can always call and pay $5 shipping directly to your home. Comes in fuschia, gray and cream.  I was so ecstatic when I found this Italian gold/rose gold/white gold teeny tiny bracelet in my jewelry box. I didn’t even remember I had it. I also have a matching necklace! I just love when I find things I forgot I even had : )

Have a great day everyone! Sorry if I am slow in responding to emails/comments and my posts have been lacking…I am slammed at work (end of year). I hope I get to breathe soon.

  1. I love the outfit! I love how you make the ann taylor top look so nice. I have something similar and everytime I try it on I remind myself of a pirate shirt or that puffy weird looking spiky headed dinosaur from Jurassic Park. Lol. I think it was my washing machine that ruined it… Any recommendation on how to save it?!

  2. Thank you so much! Oh no…it got ruined in washing machine? How bad was the damage? I usually hand wash my delicate tops like these and then hang dry to avoid mishaps… If the damage is really bad..not sure how we can re-vive it. Is it the ruffle part or the actual main part of the top?

  3. I still cannot for the life of me figure out how to properly tuck a cardigan into a skirt lol…this is cute!

  4. Great color combination, Annie! I am glad you were able to find a tiny bracelet that you have forgotten =) It looks great on your wrist. Hope work is getting better for you soon.

  5. It's the ruffle.. For my top that is the main part. Lol Maybe I can iron it down? I probably should have hand washed it, but it's just so much easier to throw it in the washer… Well, I definitely learned my lesson. Will never do that again…

    @LePetite- that's a good question…

  6. That bracelet is so dainty! I love it!

That is awesome about the $5 shipping! I would rather do that than travel to the outlet mall in Vegas! :p

  7. It looks great, especially with the blue blouse underneath! You definitely pull of bright colors in the fall/winter very well. 🙂

  8. I'm impressed with how smoothly you were able to tuck your cardigan (assuming that your boyfriend cardigan is the longer type)! Love the pop of turquoise – you look so pretty here 🙂

  9. The bracelet is much prettier in real life- it sparkles with all the diff types of gold 🙂

And yes def way better than driving…I live far away too from an outlet so sometimes it makes more sense just paying the shipping cost!

  10. Have you tried steaming? I don't iron any of my clothes…I prefer steaming especially for delicate ruffle chiffon details like these tops:) And yeah try to hand wash dainty tops like these:)

  11. Thanks Sydney! And yeah I was SO happy when I found it in my jewelry box…and when it was stamped real gold and made in Italy..I was like Jackpot! LOL I hope work slows down for me too..I'm like dying…hehehe

  12. LOL It's super easy Tara! Just smooth down the cardigan and then gently pull up the skirt and then after you have your skirt up, lift up your skirt and pull down any bulges…:D

  13. Yes I meant literally hand wash…I am really paranoid about even the delicate settings on the machine so for tops that I love or tops that are delicate, I physically hand wash and lay them flat to dry. Makes them last for years!

  14. i m always a huge fan of ann taylor cloths and i love the way u incorporate with their simply style with so mix and match and i love it now

It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much more enjoyable for me to come here and visit more often. Did
you hire out a designer to create your theme?
    Fantastic work!

  16. Hello just wanted to give you a quick heads up.
The text in your post seem to be running off the screen in Internet explorer.
I’m not sure if this is a formatting issue or something to do with browser compatibility but I figured I’d post to let you know.
The style and design look great though! Hope you get
    the issue fixed soon. Kudos

  17. I do not even know how I stopped up right here, but I thought this submit was good.
