Shirt: Ann Taylor – size 00P (this year’s version or Old Navy)
Blazer: H&M – size 2
Shoes: Ann Taylor – size 5 (similar here or here for $24.95)
I know you are probably thinking…another pleated skirt? This mint green color just makes me smile and I have nothing like it in my closet. All my other pleated skirts had to undergo some tailoring but this one fits with no alterations! It’s supposed to be a mini skirt but for someone petite, it’s the perfect length.
Details:
– waist measures 12.25″ across
– stretchy elastic waistband
– total length is 17″ (online measurements are a slightly different)
– fully lined (need to wear nude panties)
– swishing accordion pleats
Pearls: LOFT 3 tiered (similar here)
Watch: Seiko mens 34mm (similar here)
If you have never heard of LuLus.com, it’s an online clothing store that offers the latest fashions. They started out as a mother-daughter dream back in 1996 and now have grown to be a successful online fashion site. They sell everything from shoes, clothes and accessories. I purchased my BB Dakota tweed skirt last year which they price matched and their customer service is impeccable.
I can definitely see myself wearing this a lot in Spring/Summer. I just have to figure out what other colors go with mint green. I tried it with a nude blouse and it looked really nice. Any suggestions?
Disclaimer: I received this skirt courtesy of LuLus.com.
The mint green pleat skirt is gorgeous. How about pairing it with a chocolate blouse?
Thank you Ying! I will try that! Not sure I have one but I def will look π
Btw- you might want to expand how your posts show up in google reader to "full" : )
The small fits that well without a belt even!? Wow! That is great!
Here is a pairing with that skirt (you may have already seen this) from LuLus.com:

I like the black and the addition of color with a belt…and you can add some bracelets in the same color family as the belt you choose.
Thanks for the review!
That color is so pretty and suits your skin tone so well! As for color suggestions, I think a gold/beige might work quite nicely – lol, that's the color palette of my bedroom! Or even something like this: http://www.ssense.com/women/product/alice_and_olivia/opal_blouse/42220?utm_source=shopping_com&utm_medium=cpc&utm_term=42220
What a beautiful color!!
I am familiar with Lulu's. They have such unique pieces.
looking gorgeous girl! Hope you had a great xmas and have a happy new year! π
That skirt is sooo pretty and is perfect for the warmer seasons!
Your style is impeccable. Whatever color top you come up with will be marvelous.

Such a gorgeous color!
Thanks for the tip =)
I would avoid a blazer with this one. Makes it a bit too formal. The skirt is fun, so maybe try an oversized top or a slouchy in a neutral hue.
I really liked what you did with the mint skirt and the darker blues. I'd probably punk out and go with a safe black or white combination.
That mint green looks so lovely!!! It will definitely be perfect in the spring/summer. I'd say for a more casual look to pair it with a simple white tee or blouse, and add a belt. A navy blazer would look nice with it too, like the one you're wearing here! Of course nude shoes are a must with this skirt! I'd think a cardigan in another pastel color might work as well… but I'm not sure. Good luck. π

Hi, Neat post. There’s an issue along with your website in web explorer, could test this?
IE still is the market chief and a big component to people will
omit your fantastic writing due to this problem.
Very nice article, just what I needed.
I’m amazed, I have to admit. Seldom do I come across a blog
that’s equally educative and interesting, and without a doubt, you have
hit the nail on the head. The issue is something that not enough people are speaking intelligently
