I went looking for my H&M blazer from this post and luckily was able to snag the last size 2 (style# 037443 – $34.95). My heart was pounding while I was walking steadily around the store looking for it. The fit is really nice except for the extra wide and bunchy sleeves. I’m debating on slimming them because I really do love the color and style. The color is more of a taupe than a gray in person. I also brought this pretty blue drape dress home to mull over. The XS fits nicely and I can see it being something easy to wear to work on days I can’t think of putting together an outfit.

Honeycomb sweater in light citron (Extra 40% off sale items, $23.99 in-store)
I stopped in J.Crew and it was slim pickings in the clearance section. I found this light citron color in a larger size and fell in love with it. I was so happy to be able to order it via red phone in-store in an XXS and they waived my shipping! If you can’t find your size in-store, look for the “red phone” and you can have it shipped to you. I was tempted to order other colors but refrained. I also learned a valuable lesson today. Don’t be afraid to ask for price adjustments on previous online purchases. I was able to get tons of money back on my coddington pumps and some other items that I paid much more for. They typically aren’t supposed to do this but if you get someone nice, you may get lucky. I also found the boy’s gingham that I originally bought online for only $12.49 in-store. I will have another size 10 (boys) avail if anyone is interested but at the online price. (sold)
Strapless Sequin Sheath– size 0P (Extra 50% off sale items, $35 in-store)
I don’t usually have luck finding small sizes at my local Banana Republic but found this lonely sequin dress in the petite section. I loved the fit of this dress- it runs really small. I don’t see it being offered in petite’s online but you may want to check out your local store. I saw tons of sequin items on major clearance. I decided to pass on it because I’m trying to be more practical with my purchases this year. I’m starting to notice that in-store prices at most of my favorite stores like Ann Taylor, LOFT, Banana Republic, J.Crew, Gap are always cheaper than online.

Awesome sequin dress! Both my banana and J Crew had nothing left when I went yesterday, totally disappointing!
I also noticed that the prices are cheaper in the stores! But online shopping is so convenient…lol.

I got lucky and had a cool SA and she waived it for me! She said she isn't supposed to on clearance items but will make an exception.

That sequin dress is gorgeous! I went yesterday and it was marked down to $40 in-store. If you get it today from 11AM-2PM local time you can get an extra 50% off. The grand total of the dress comes to $20! Also, the dress definitely runs small. I usually take a 0 in BR and had to size up to a 2.
