I forgot to mention in my last post when I wore this Ann Taylor factory ruffle shell to thank Kellie V. (reader) for picking this up for me. She emailed me when she found this back in January and knew how much I adored these shells and picked up 2 colors that I didn’t have. How sweet is she? Thanks Kellie!

This is one of those skirts that I just want to keep so bad even though the fit is not perfect. It may appear like it’s okay but it’s about 1″ too big in the waist and thru the hips. Because it’s a cotton material, I am thinking maybe I can shrink it or will have to just slim the sides and taken in the waist. It’s one of those items that just makes me happy…so is it worth keeping and tailoring? Here are some other pairings I posted on instagram here and here:

Dear H&M…please come out with an ivory/cream version of this swing jacket. I love it to pieces and wear it frequently.  I keep checking their website for something similar.  If anyone ever see’s it come back in a light beige/cream/ivory, please let me know πŸ™‚

  1. I purchased the cafe capri version of that skirt and even though it's not perfect and it's expensive I'm keeping it anyway. It's my DIY project this weekend: slimming the legs, letting out the cuff and possible a little shrinking. I assume you've left for vacation. Hope you have a great time!

  2. I do love HM blazers! I get so excited everytime they have the 20% off so I can get more. You look so lovely in the polka dots skirt!

  3. love the bag! lovely outfit!

  4. It's totally worth keeping and tailoring. Obviously it fits into your wardrobe and if it makes you happy, the investment is totally worth it!

  5. This is the coolest train station photo shoot ever. That skirt is so cute. I hope you're successful with shrinking. Maybe you have some shrinking tips. I sure need it for a few items that were mistakes (too big on me, but I was unwilling to pass up.)
I love those ruffle shells. I only wish I could find one for myself.
