I couldn’t wait to take my new striped peep toe pumps out for a spin. I still can’t believe I scored them for only $27. They are super comfortable too! I am s hocked I can get away with a size 5.5…either my feet have swelled up or these run smaller. Whatever the case is, I am so excited about them! I love my new neon pink bell skirt but I must warn you – it’s very wrinkle prone. The side pockets definitely helped my buying decision and trumped the fact that it’s unlined and semi sheer. You can get away with nude panties but I’ll probably opt for a short slip next time.
I love my new Banana Republic silk safari blouse. I’ve been eyeing it since it was a new arrival and scored it on clearance. It comes in several different colors and I am still looking for the chartreuse color in my size. I’ve already worn this twice since I got it, layered and alone. It goes with everything and oh so soft on the skin. I do worry about spilling so I make sure to cover up while eating. The ivory color is a bit sheer but if you wear a nude bra and tuck it in, it should be okay. If that bothers you, you can layer a blazer or cardigan over it and it works just as well.

I’m usually not a huge fan of Forever 21 jewelry because of it’s quality but this latest necklace is so pretty! I compared it to the quality of my Bauble Bar necklaces that are similar in style and I must say, it’s very comparable. For $10.50, I think it’s a great piece to add and the cream/gold color is very nice in person. Thanks for all the ladies that helped me decide on Twitter/FB/Instagram 🙂
This is such a comfortable and easy casual outfit. I have to be comfortable in my outfits – especially my casual clothes. I always try to post outfits that I wear to work and in my real everyday life. It’s important for me to showcase outfits that people can actually replicate and wear in their daily lives. I know sometimes I can be boring and tend to gravitate towards the same type of items such as skirts and dresses but that’s what I really wear on a day to day basis. I hope you don’t get bored with my style:)
P.S. I no longer need help finding this skirt in both colors:
I was able to order them after stalking the website for my size to pop back up!
such a pretty skirt! love the pop of color!

Nice outfit–casual but still modern and a perfect summer look.
Love this! The skirt is really pretty and the tank is perfect for summer. Shame that there are no sizes left for me on neither the US or the Canadian BR site. 🙁
Striped pumps? Oh my, my heart can barely take it! Love how you paired it with the bright pink! Did you, by chance, see my tweet this morning? BR has a striped necklace for $18
The pumps are fabulous! Love your blog <3

Those shoes look great. Congrats getting them on sale. What a great deal compared to the ones by J. Crew.
Are they comfortable?
