I know it may seem like I shop a lot but I also return a lot as well. I like to try things on at home, take photos to see the fit and then decide if it’s worth keeping.  There’s a lot of times when I buy something in store and then bring it home to find out that it won’t work.  Most of these items were purchased online as fillers to get free shipping.  I’ll try to do a review for you to show you how it fits on me.

  1. I do the exact same thing! I buy tons of clothes online (sometimes just to get free shipping), then return about 90% of my purchases because they either don’t fit well or doesn’t mix well with my wardrobe.

I love #4, 5, and 7. #5 looks like it would go with a lot of skirts and dress pants and #7 looks like such a modern version of the classic tweed. Can’t wait to see you style them! I love your blog, Annie! You’re the first “petite” blog I discovered when I started working full time more than a year ago. I still can’t believe you take all of your photos by yourself! They always look professional, in-focus, and beautiful.

    • Hi Jenny! Aw thanks so much! I can’t believe I was the first one you found- yay! Thanks for reading and supporting me- really means a lot 😀

  4. You might have a sustainably growing, and more respected blog if you developed your own style, instead of trying to copy wendyslookbook (Shoe shots like hers? Really? She has great legs, shoes, style, camera/man) or extrapetite (Cabachon necklace over a white shift a day after Jean's post?) I know this sounds vituperative, but I am just a reader of blogs, who is friends with many similar readers, and I know that we immediately discredit bloggers when we notice such blatant acts of plagiarism. With so many new blogs mushrooming, there is no dearth of stylists to follow.
You might be doing yourself a favor if you try to be original. The argument that petite bloggers are forced to wear/review the same items is fallacious: if that were true, why is it that, for instance, Wendy and Jean never seem like unoriginal plagiarists?

  5. That green hm dress has a great lattern! And I'll email you my info. I'm sooo excited to win!!! Such a classic necklace!

  6. Look forward to your reviews of the items. It is very helpful when you review the items for us.

  8. I’ve decided… we are shopping sisters because I think I said nearly the same thing to justify my shopping activity: “I know it may seem like I shop a lot but I also return a lot as well. I
like to try things on at home, take photos to see the fit and then
decide if it’s worth keeping.” We can both be crowned Serial Return Queens. I’m just glad I’m still allowed to shop at my favorite retailers. One time I walked into BR and realized I bought almost everything in the women’s section. huzzah

  10. I saw on Vicky’s blog that you might have another of the Cabochon necklaces? If you still do, I’d love to know how much you’d consider selling it for. I’ve been checking (a month late) the local shops, but have had no luck. I was really excited at the thought you might have another!

    • hi Elisabeth! Oh no… I found an extra one but someone had claimed it almost instantly on Twitter:( I’m so sorry! I’ll keep my eyes peeled for ya:)
