Lydia Printed Leopard Blouse – size 00P

I’ve been searching for a leopard print blouse for awhile now and haven’t found anything that I like.  I saw this online and the stock photo was just “meh” but when I found it in store and tried it on, it was much cuter in person.  I love the soft colors and the toned down leopard print. I was waiting for a better sale and now Banana Republic is offering 50% off 5 items for Luxe card members (in-store only) and 35% off online with a unique code via email.

I brought all three home to think about. The burgundy dress fits the best out of all three.  I love BR dresses, they seem to fit me best. The hips and length always could use some minor alterations but all in all, I really love them.

Here’s when I wore the Tina printed sheath to work the other day. I added an exotic leather gray Ann Taylor belt (scored for $10 recently in-store) and blazer to complete the look.

Zebra Print V-neck dress– size 00P
I bought this on clearance with some rewards money for a grand total of $30. I don’t have any zebra print dresses and like the neutral colors. It could use some slimming around the hips for a perfect fit.

This could be super cute with a belt but I didn’t love it so I passed.
 I also tried on this shimmer textured pencil skirt (had high hopes) but unfortunately it was too big.  I orginally went to Banana Republic looking for this Jackie textured sheath dress but my store didn’t carry it. I’m hoping to find it and get 50% off this weekend.
Have you bought or tried any of the above?

  5. BR dresses fit you so well! I used to be able to fit them, but for some reason I’m now having trouble getting them zipped up past my upper back. I don’t get it. My old BR dresses still fit??

  9. Sometimes I have a fear of buying bold prints like the zebra or the black and gray, because I don’t have adequate fashion sense to pair them well. I love coming to your blog for ideas. All of these dresses look great on you!
