Measurements: Shoulder to shoulder: 14 1/4″, Sleeves 21 1/2″, armpit to armpit: 16.5″, total length 23.5″, bottom width 19″
There was also a frosted citrus color that is now on clearance here.
Likes: I love the sandstone color. It’s a great neutral color that is not too light or too dark. It’s a classic color that I can wear year after year and wont get sick of. The gold button accents are what makes the coat so cute. It’s made out of Italian wool. The back belt with gold buttons is so adorable. Other details include:
Dislikes: I did notice one tiny snag which was a bit disappointing. I will just leave it alone because if you cut the snag, it could make it worse. I did also notice that a couple of the gold buttons had some marks on them. The sleeves are slightly too long but not bad enough where it would bother me.
Verdict: Keeping and would recommend.
Do you own the majesty peacoat? Which color do you like the best?
Happy Holidays everyone! 🙂
Love this coat! I do not own this one but it is the perfect fit and I think the color you chose is perfect for you!

I love this coat on you. For the snag it may be possible for you to loop this back through. You’ll need a needle a thread.
Step 1 – Thread the thread through the needle as usual but do not knot the thread end yet.
Step 2 – Feed the needle and thread through the snag.
Step 3 – Knot the 2 ends of the thread together to create a knot.
Step 4 – Take the needle & knot end of the thread and pierce the needle through in to the back of the coat. You should be able to see the pointed end of the needed in the lining.
Step 5 – Pull the thread & needle right through and your snag should dissapear.
I hope this makes sense. I use this technique for snags in knitwear.

That’s a very nice peacoat, Annie. It is styled nicely and looks very classy. The peacoat has about as much of power as almost any blazer. Good for dressing up for down. Very nice!

Are you supposed to cut the ‘X’ on the back vent? I’ve always been told to do that, but I see you didn’t. I love the coat, by the way. I wish it wasn’t so expensive!

Yes you are supposed to cut the X on the back vent. I forgot to do that before taking pictures for this post:)

I tried on this coat too! I didn’t buy it though because I already have a peacoat, but I was really sad that the color I liked wasn’t in petites. Oh well. Maybe next year.
Aw sorry to hear that. I am sure J.Crew will have different colors next year:)

I am 5’2 and 120 lbs do you think the 0P would fit me ?
I think a 0p or 2p would work 🙂

Hi! Was about to make the same purchase, but wanted to know; did you need to size up at all from your normal J.Crew size? I’m usually a 2…should I stick with that?
I got my normal size 00P 🙂
http://www.StylishPetite.com
…and it looks great, so I’ll stick to my size also. Thanks for the quick response!
No problem!

love this coat but three buttons fell off and could only find one. very disappointing and customer service could not help me.
Oh no! One of my buttons fell off after a lot of wear but luckily I heard it fall and was able to save it!

Hi, do you mind telling me how tall are you and how much do you weigh in this picture. I just place an order online with the same jacket but i ordered size 4P and seeing that you got 00P make me nervous.
I’m 5′ tall and 92 lbs
Omg, now I’m scared. I’m also 5′ tall but weighs 105lbs and i ordered this peacoat in 4P. I hope it won’t be to big on me since It’s final sale 🙁
Oh no! It will probably be too big? Can you call them and try to change the size? The 00p fits me perfectly so I think a 0P will work for you!
Exactly! I called the but all smaller sizes are sold out 🙁 I guess I’ll be stuck with size. Thank you for your help tho.
Darn it! Hopefully it won’t be too big and maybe you can have some alterations done on it. Keep me posted!
I will keep you posted, thank you again.
Hi, I finally received my coat! It fits perfect, thank God 🙂
Omg that is awesome! Thank goodness! 🙂
