Skirt: H&M – size 4 (see previous post with size 2)
Purse: J.Crew in vintage navy (other colors here)
Bangles: J.Crew, c/o Stella Dot, Vintage
This navy blazer is the exact same one as my beloved cream/ivory one (see review here) that I wear all the time. I’ve washed my cream one multiple times on cold/delicate, let it air dry and it’s held up really nicely. I haven’t noticed any pilling yet which is a good sign. I love that you don’t have to dry clean this blazer – another huge plus and saves tons of money. I didn’t have any qualms about buying this blazer because I know I love the cut and it fits me so well. I did have to take up the sleeves by 2″. Now I wish I would have waited to buy my J.Crew schoolboy navy blazer – oh well!
I had this striped bow skirt from 2010 (see here) and regrettably sold it (size 2). It wasn’t until recently that WhatJessWore reminded me of it and I asked everyone to keep a look out for me. Thanks to LoveAngel510 on Instagram, she alerted me that it was available for sale on Poshmark in a size 4 (still prefer a 2). I remembered that this skirt ran really small in the waist so a 4 would be do-able. It was my first purchase on Poshmark and I had a good experience except the shipping charges were outrageous. I’m not sure how everything works and have never sold anything on there before either.
I wore this outfit (minus the blazer) for date night last weekend when it was 114 degrees out. We went out for Thai food and it satisfied my craving.

I stopped by J.Crew to return this cream/gold link bracelet that I got as a gift. I loved the color and style but it was so big that there was no way I could wear it. I ended up exchanging for this navy enamel bangle (can’t find it online – on sale in store) but barcode on tag reads: 099103031930.
I also tried on this leopard bangle (runs small and cheaper in store) and this gold link bracelet {barcode: 099103016531}. Both are petite wrist friendly and on sale in stores!
I’m very happy about being reunited with my skirt. I hope H&M brings it back. I love the silk-y polyester material – machine washable and doesn’t wrinkle. The length is borderline too short (15″ in length) for someone my height (5′ tall) but I still adore it. I wouldn’t wear it to work but it sure is a great casual, fun skirt.
The winner of the TLBC bra and panty giveaway is announced HERE! Congrats to the winner! 🙂
I love this outfit on you. The skirt is gorgeous and I love the pop of red that you have added.

Thanks Shira! I’m so excited I finally got it back too 🙂 It’s so much fun!
Such a fun and flirty (the skirt) outfit Annie! I love the bow and flounces in the front so much so I’m glad you finally found it again and your new navy blazer is so classic.
On another note… I can’t believe I won the giveaway! I have never won anything before. Please let me know what I need to do next. 🙂
Hehehe thanks Jess! I’m pretty excited about finding this skirt again – thanks again for reminding me. I do wish it was a size 2 (fits better in the waist and hips) but I won’t complain. Congrats on winning – I was happy to see your name drawn!
My pleasure! This size looks like it fits you well. Thanks for taking the time to TLBC review/giveaway because I’m hesitant to try new brands once I find a favorite. 🙂
so pretty and girly! I love the stripes!
