My yellow skirt void has been filled with this cute little number. I love the thick ponte material and it doesn’t wrinkle! It’s a regular size so the waist was a bit too loose. After washing and drying, it shrunk just enough to fit me without shortening the length too much. It’s hand wash only so I took a risk and luckily it worked. Thank goodness! See it on Atlantic-Pacific and the cream petite version on Wendy.
I’m loving my new navy floppy hat with bow. It’s the best fitting hat I own and would highly recommend it. The head part is usually very big and loose with most floppy hats but this one fits nicely. The bow is my favorite part.
I recently scored this Kate Spade striped yellow skirt in a 00 from Nordstrom Rack. I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw it hanging in the clearance section. I bought it without hesitation. The 00 fits a bit roomy ( 12.5″ waist, 18″ hips, 18″ length) on me so I washed and dried it on low. Luckily, it only shrunk 1/2″ in the waist and 1″ in hips and length. Now it fits me perfectly. It’s a blend of cotton/silk and is supposed to be Dry Clean only so I don’t recommend doing what I did. I had no idea Kate Spade even made a 00!
We went out to Cheesecake Factory for lunch recently and had the most amazing southern fried chicken sliders I’ve ever had. I’m a pretty fussy eater so it’s rare for me to say this.
Have a great weekend everyone!
Unlike some people who think floppy hats are ugly, they can look very cute and are very much warm-weather stylish. You’ve proven that with this outfit, Annie. The big floppy hat is as cute as you are, and the animal print pumps are a wild touch to spice up the outfit. Awesomeness!

I love the skirt! Such a pretty color. Those fish tacos look pretty great, too lol. I received the yellow and white strapless Loft dress in the mail last week but sadly had to return it… the fit on top was loose on me. Blah… my search for the perfect summer dress continues!
I love your new floppy hat Annie! I’m hoping to find it in stores at Target this weekend so thanks for enabling. The yellow ASOS skirt is absolutely adorable on you. Just this instant I realized that it’s vaguely familiar because I pinned one of AP’s outfits from when she wore the skirt (different outfit from the her blog post you linked to). Your Kate Spade skirt gives me grabby hands. I can’t believe you risked machine washing but I’m glad to hear it worked out. 🙂
the food looks delicious! you certainly know how to rock out the preppy style! 🙂
The
above outfit is really looking great with floppy hats. I like the navy
blue colour very much because it is my favourite colour which I most preferred to wear this kind of outfit. I want this floppy hat which is nice in style.
Thank you!
