I can’t believe it’s October! It’s hard to put away my Summer and beach clothes especially after a beautiful island vacation.  I took out of my favorite Forever 21 purchase from last year (see here and here).

This utility jacket fits so well and has become a staple in my closet. Forever 21 brought it back after it sold out last year and I’m hoping they do it again for those that missed out. It looks much better in person than it does online.  The arms are nice and slim for petites and the drawstring waist allows you to make it a bit more fitted.  The length works great for someone my height but may be a bit short for taller gals. It’s 100% cotton and a heavy/thick material. The hood is detachable too!

I still haven’t had a chance to take the hem up on these AG jeans.  I think they will look much better once the cuff/roll isn’t so thick but I still love them.
P.S. In case you missed it, use MYSTERY75 at Loft for 75% off full priced purchases of $150. I ordered the covered placket short sleeve blouse, colorblocked collar blouse, and this camel pencil skirt.

  4. This is a great casual outfit– all of these pieces are really classic and versatile! Recently did a massive closet purge (did a way with over half of my stuff) and luckily my utility jacket and Willis survived the cut… so I may have to replicate this look for next weekend lol! Now I just need some classic leopard flats. How are the ones from gap that you recently bought?
