Happy Friday! I’m wearing mint again today – I know shocker right? Clearly I felt the need to match my dress to my nails. 🙂 I love throwing a blazer over a sheath dress for work. It’s simple and classy. You can take off the jacket if you get too hot or keep it on if your office is an ice box.

This J.Crew emmaleigh dress is a favorite of mine (last seen here). Okay I say a lot of things are my favorites but seriously – this is a great work dress. 
The material doesn’t wrinkle and is light/airy for Spring/Summer. The 00P fits me perfectly w/out any alterations and it has pockets. I would highly recommend. This mint color is from last year but you can choose from 4 different colors here.

I’m loving this chanel-esque tweed blazer from White House Black Market. See my previous fitting room review here. I love their petite collection because it seems to be cut smaller than other retailers. The pricing is a bit higher but the quality makes up for it. Plus if you shop their sales, you can score some pretty good deals. This blazer is currently on sale for $69.99 (buy here).

On a non-fashion related note, I finally splurged and bought some lipstick. After using my favorite Clinique lipstick for as long as I can remember…you know those free gifts with purchases? Yup I’m one of those suckers. It was my favorite color and was so old that the tag on the bottom wore off (probably not good to keep lipstick that long). I’m not into makeup and know nothing about it. I’d rather buy clothes and shoes than makeup. I was so desperate after having to scrap the last bits of my lipstick tube that I decided to treat myself to these beauties. My lips are very tricky – color never seems to show up or last. I’m happy to report that these are amazing! They last for several hours w/out re-applying and the color actually shows up on my lips. It’s a miracle! The packaging is gorgeous and well worth the money. Would recommend. You can buy these here and here.

  2. Happy Friday! I love mint on you and this is one of my favorite outfits you’ve posted because you’re wearing that dress! It’s got to be my favorite color since it just pops. The tweed jacket looks so expensive and I’m glad you chose this one as a keeper.

    I also have really old lipstick that I still use since I barely use it (from a Lancome sample that my mom gave me). It’s been years but they smell lovely and go on so creamy. So another beauty guru I follow on IG just posted about these YSL lipsticks yesterday. I’m definitely have to check them out at Sephora since you just recommended them too! Thanks in advance for enabling. #32 Corial Jalouse looks so pretty on my monitor right now.

  8. So many fabulous colors and one lady fabulous enough to wear such fabulous colors! This is a beautiful dress along with a nice jacket and some stylish pumps.
