Happy Friday everyone! It’s crazy to think that Fall is right around the corner and Summer is almost over. Where did the time go? I’m trying to wrap my mind around darker colors and layers and this trench jacket is helping me look forward to cooler temperatures. I’ve been wanting a cropped trench and can finally check it off my list! This is a wardrobe staple every woman must have! It’ll be great not only for the upcoming season but for Spring as well.

I fell in love with this jacket when I originally tried it on in a 0P (see here). It was too big so I was able to locate my size from a different store. I love the shoulder epaulettes with button tabs and faux leather trim details. The length is perfect in petite sizing. The sleeves are slightly long but luckily it doesn’t run wide. I have to turn up the sleeves once but it still looks good. The only thing it’s missing are button tab cuffs. I’ll give it a pass since the jacket is machine washable – that makes up for it.
Measurements of a 00P: shoulders 14″, armpits 16″, sleeves 22″, total length 19.5″
You can choose to button it up or leave the jacket open. I prefer it unbuttoned and think it looks better with this outfit.

I got the trench dress in the same fabric which I just love. Living in Southern CA, I can’t remember the last time i needed a jacket since it’s been so hot in the past year.

I did a search, and found cute jean outfits that you have posted. I guess I wasn’t a member of the blog back then? They all fit so nice on you! I hate shopping for jeans. When I find a pair I love I wear the BREAKS off of them. lol.
