Happy hump day everyone! It’s officially Fall even though it still feels like Summer here in SoCal. My brain is in Fall fashion mode and I’m finding it very difficult to put together outfits. The weather is telling me to wear thin fabrics and lighter colors but I’m already transitioning into richer hues and layers. I normally like warmer weather but this recent scorching heat wave has me wishing for cooler temperatures.
I’m completely head over heels in love with this Anthropologie dress! See fitting room review here. It’s by far the most comfortable dress I own and the 00P fits me like a glove. It’s almost as if they made it for my body. It’s the perfect color for Fall/Winter and I can see it being a great holiday dress (just add a sequin clutch or sparkly gold shoes).
Measurements of 00P: shoulders 11″, armpits 14″, waist 12″, hips 16″, length 35.5″
The quilted fabric is very soft and doesn’t wrinkle throughout the day. It’s fully lined and has pockets! I’d recommend sizing up if you are unsure as it runs on the smaller side.
As much as I love this dress, there are indeed some downsides. There’s a side zipper which makes it a little bit more difficult to put on and take off. I prefer a back zipper so I don’t have to wiggle myself in and out of the dress. Last but not least, it’s dry clean only. 🙁 Other than that, I would highly recommend it! Love, love love this dress!! I must go to Anthropologie this weekend to try on. I love both the green and rust and will go home with which ever they have available. I have shoes and handbag to wear as you have. So lovely!!
