Hi everyone! Happy hump day! If you follow along on Instagram or read my previous post here, you know I’ve been dying to get my hands on this trench cape. Well…it finally arrived! It’s been pretty obvious I’ve been on a cape (and poncho) kick and when I saw this online, I knew it had to be mine. Unfortunately, the first cape that came had a huge snag in the front. I was really disappointed and started questioning whether or not the material would be snag prone. Good thing I ordered another one right away because it seems like most of the petite sizes are sold out. The overall fit is great on someone my size when fully buttoned but when left open, it looks somewhat big. I like the simplicity and classic design although I wish it had shoulder epaulets and an optional belt. It’s fully lined and not too bulky for Spring. The material is 8% wool, 22% viscose and 70% polyester but it feels more like a soft cotton to me. It’s a lighter khaki (almost cream color) so it’ll probably get dirty easier than my camel belted cape. I think the price is quite steep (even with 40% off) but if you’re looking for a classic trench cape, I would recommend this one.

These J.Crew elsie mint pumps are ah-mazing! You know I love love love J.Crew shoes and these are perfection. I’ve waited patienly for 2 months and they finally arrived (ordered them back in November). I’ve been searcing for the perfect pair of mint leather pumps for what seems like forever. The color is exactly what I was hoping for and the heel height is ideal for work (and super comfortable). I regret not getting the cobblestone color and gossamer peach so I ordered the thistle. I would recommend them a hundred times over. Thanks so much for reading! XO
