Hi everyone! Happy hump day! If you’ve been on the hunt for a classic camel cape, look no further. I’m loving this belted camel cape from Sheinside! I’m shocked at how well it fits and pleasantly surprised at the quality. The camel color is a perfect shade and is actually lighter in person than the stock image. I really like that it has good weight to it but it’s not bulky. It’s great for mild Winters however still should keep you warm in colder climate. I love all the small details such as the shoulder epaulets, decorative button flaps on the pockets and even the button detail at the bottom of the slits. The back has a single pleat w/ a cute button flap detail across the shoulders (not sure what this is called). The cape is fully lined and the best part is…I can move my arms freely! I find that a lot of capes are designed with a smaller opening making my arms feel trapped. Luckily the slits on this are long enough that your arms don’t look like they’re permanently attached to your sides. Most capes can be overwhelming in size and length (especially on petites) but this one fits me nicely. You can wear it unbuttoned (w/out the belt) or buttoned and belted for a more polished look. I would highly recommend it! I’m also loving this striped faux leather pocket dress (see here) and this plaid belt coat. I’m going to try to wear this cape as much as I can before Spring arrives.
